Amount requested: 0.2 btc

Purpose: trading on btc-e.com

Ive been on play in the last FTC pump (from 0.00094 to 0.0022), and TRC pump , also is easy to surf the waves in the BTC/USD trading.

i have earned good profits on btc-e in the past but i cashed out all the btcs recently because of monetary needs.

so, i want to try it again.

in one week i want to make 0.1 for me and i will return the 0.2

and my goal is to make 10 BTC with 0.1 BTC in maybe two months or less

Both Zeeshan and John under review, if anyone has any input regarding their requests I'll happily take it into consideration.

I'll approve or disapprove your loans by tomorrow.

Why would you even offer 0% interest loans? You have negative expected value considering you're permanently in the red if just one person defaults.

Discuss here as to not derail this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=276588.new#new

Open a new thread about that, please, since it will end up derailing the thread.
"Why would people lend BTC without interest ?" sound like an ok title.
Then just edit your post with the link of the new thread.
Thanks!

EDIT : Thank you for the split/fork/whatever it's called! Smiley

Open a new thread about that, please, since it will end up derailing the thread.

Thanks for keeping this on track Kouye!  This is a very interesting concept here with 0% interest and I respect this thread... I will give you full support in the future for this idea.

Amount requested: BTC1.302

Purpose: To create DIY threads and youtube videos that may be able to help further the development of open source solutions to the ever growing rising proof of work difficulty from pre-shipping mining vs Avalon ASIC shipping delays.

This is a huge request I am making of you to "Lend" based upon my belief that some homemade rigs will still be able to mine data in the next few months.  I have been extremely lucky to receive support thus far from people like:

SebastianJu (Group buy coordinator and Avalon chip dispersal extraordinaire). He sent me one sample Avalon from Germany to the USA that fell off the back of a truck in China =D

Bkkcoins (Hardware development genius).  He is sending me one K1 PCB and two K16 PCBs with solder stencils.. re-flow paste.. small heat sinks..and pre-programmed PIC firmware that is currently mining from my understanding.  He releases all of his documents and you can find great info on making your own boards and ordering from him here...

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=190731.0

Order site:

https://klondikedesign.com/

I should have the PCBs in about 3 weeks time.. Bkkcoins is doing his best to get PCB's and stencils made as quickly as he can.  GJ to him btw!  I have the needed components on the way... that being said here is a warning issued by Bkkcoins that I would like anyone considering sending me BTC to read about the project at hand...

"Bitcoin ASIC Miner Project

WARNING:

This project is incomplete and in progress. There may be errors, mistakes, incomplete portions at this time. Do NOT use these project files to order circuit boards until they have been finished and confirmed to work."

Full warning and agreements can be read at https://github.com/bkkcoins/klondike.

Upon receipt of BTC1.302 I will combine it with my already invested BTC1.45 to place an order for 32 Avalon ASICs @ BTC0.086 = BTC2.752

I will be covering all of the shipping costs to get the chips to my door step.  If I act quickly I may be able to get this price on a Batch order to ship early September.  There are of course countless threads dedicated to the problems Avalon is having getting the chips out so it could take much longer and "ROI" will not happen... BTC1.302 may not qualify as a "mini-loan" but if anyone is interested in investing in DIY boards... feel free to post back or PM me or contact any of the other developers working these boards...

List of all of the start up company and open source devs...
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=192860

Term: This is a really good question... It has many variables.. it might take a whole new thread for me to answer this... I am willing to start skype conversations if the lender is interested in updates on project times... there is about a two month or so deadline before the difficulty rises too high to make mining back any BTC possible... to be negative perhaps or ready for the outcomes stated from previous problems listed above.

Trusted?: I am new to bitcointalk.org.  I have been active here for about month now or so.  I am trying to develop a good reputation here and do all that I can to help the open source community at large... I am open to any questions or help or interest anyone may have in Bkkcoins and DIY minners or myself! I do not expect any "loans" or "donations".  I like the idea of 0% interest this thread offers so I support it with my project of building a few K16's .  And I do not have the current resources.. broke college grad.. to populate all of my boards.  Of course if BTC mines back.. after understanding the risks involved.. I will give all of the profits made first to the lender Stunna as to pay off his investment in this project. The gratitude would live forever.

I hope this thread remains legitimate and you have luck with your future 0% loans!

@Voxelot
If Stunna decides not to do your loan, I could do it for 0% interest, however, do you have any form of collateral? You sound trustworthy but that doesn't mean a lot. Collateral can be anything that's easily transferable with value, if you live nearby the Netherlands, you could also send collateral via mail, but generally digital transfer is easier if you have anything.

Thanks for the reply!

I am trying to think of a good way to do collateral.. There is some faith from the investor that I can pull off a rig to return some investment BTC at some point.  It is possible that my at home re-flow method will fry everything.. I would like to return faith to the investor by offering the entire rig and or ASIC chips from said rig... including my invested more than half if things don't work out.  The gamble for myself and the investor is..

Will Avalon ship in time to mine enough Data to return the BTC invested?.. this is a small investment since I am not sure at all if Avalon can pull through.. I am able to get a BTC0.086 price per chip right now since a lot of group buy investors are pulling out with fears of losing ROI.  Before the BTC is sent to me I would like to confirm with sebastianJu that our order is in a "good" Batch to be delivered in Mid to Late September.  The risk is our batch won't be delivered on time but chips have started moving recently.  Either way I do not see a way to ROI on most of the ASIC miners being distributed with delays.

This is sort of a test for me and anyone else interested.. to see if we can populate the boards being sent to me.  If things work out I would like to offer an assembly service with 0% fees much like this thread... based fully on support of the community. I would like to work with others to find the best ways to burn new chip technologies to PCB designs from engineers on all of the new chips being developed. e.g.

http://www.cointerra.com/

As to not flood this thread with tangents.. perhaps PM me so we can set up communications on the ever changing events that will show if Avalon ships or not or any other concerns of collateral in this project.

Regards

PS

I am located in the USA

This will be a linked 9 GHash/s Miner with a 0.3 Ghash/s dongle. The plans are to have the rig mining in mid September.  The difficulty should be around 70Mil then (this is probably a high estimate but it's better to be safe).  All BTC will be sent to investors address until investment is paid off.. this will take 22 days or so with current calculations (http://www.bitcoinx.com/profit/) to pay you back if Avalon ships... I am not interested in profiting from these boards so there is a good chance I will just leave it mining on your address.

PPS

The more I think about the more it seems like a cool idea to try and have my miners back your system of 0% with a sort of system to assure there is physically enough to loan out.. or try to anyway.. no imaginary debts here =D Maybe im crazy... PM if interested.

PPPS

I have just secured a deal for 32 chips from a group buy.  I put BTC1.376 up front to purchase 16 and dddbtc is kind enough to hold the remaining 16 for me.  They are on the Marto74 Batch#1 purchased into on a sebastianJu group buy on Batch #5 Avalon Group Buy.  Links below.

Received this valuable input from a user via PM which has made me decide to Deny these two requests unfortunately. Thanks to that user, not sure if they want me to mention his/her name.

johnmatrix
- Gone dormant for over a month since on May 5th.
- Came back to post on a giveaway thread.
- Apparently sold LABCOIN shares, in fractions (at least 500 + 2000) - but no trust feedback on his account, that is weird. He hasn't replied either to the thread question asking if everything was sold.
- Posted a warning about an obvious facebook phishing attempt that was already (maybe not the same url, but still...) posted several times.
- Not a single post since then, but he jumped on your loan offer, so he's lurking among others in the Lending sub.

I wouldn't risk any coin with him.

zeeshanblc
- Goes dormant for a month on july 16th
- Comes back and post a random "Welcome" on newbie forum
- Jumps straight to your post after this.

If I was a hacker and successfully took over this account, which is all about powercoins - check post history, I would have easily made up a credible story about trading altcoins, too.
Plus, he asks for 0.5, when you clearly said 0.2 was the limit, unless they had a good reason.

If I was you, I'd have someone confirm he's still the same guy. Maybe through NWO, which has some positive trust - meaning not much, unfortunately.

If the account owner is still the same, I'd risk a 0.2 with him, but no more.

I'll be out for the next 6 hours or so, I will consider the next request when I return.

I'm still the same guy who controls this account since the beginning.  I will not bother NWO for a measly .2. Thanks for your clear answer.

Good. Hopefully you won't bother Stunna for a "measly" .2 either. See you around.  Smiley

I'm willing to approve this loan, send me a PM or post below to discuss the term of the loan and if you could place some collateral that would be great. You seem like a pretty genuine person, I like to think I'm a decent judge of character.  Ultimately I'm trying to keep this going as long as possible, so whoever defaults will simply be restricting other users from getting a loan. I'd also like to pose the deal that you cannot request other loans while owing money to me.

Thanks

Relevant thread for vforce...

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=276909.0

I would suggest further talks with him.

Thanks for the acceptance Stunna!  I look forward to working with your loan and with you in the future.  vforce I am currently building small experimental units that I plan to mine and support lenders like Stunna with.. I would suggest doing the same but I am sure it is not required.

I will send a PM with more details and I accept your deal to not accept any other loans.  Your investment will be promptly sent to the ASIC group buy in the provided links!  Lets hope Avalon ships soon like some signs point to.

Received and investing... thank you for your professional loan!

And here is a link to the buy group our investment is in with Avalon.  There is record of the transaction of the 32 chips at the end of the thread showing proof your BTC was spent on Avalon chips in the amount of BTC1.376

Unfortunately going to have to deny this, you haven't really made any trades on bt talk and are very new. If you end up losing that match there is a decent chance I won't see my coins return.

Willing to lend users small amounts. At 0% Interest

In most cases this is .2 BTC and under unless you give me a compelling reason to give more.

Terms
  • Must borrow for a legitimate purpose, no confidence/trust loans. To discourage this, in most cases I will not leave trust
  • Loans handled on a case by case basis
  • I have the right to decline any requests I see unfit
  • No sob stories
  • You may not take out other loans during this period
  • If you have overall negative trust or under 50 activity you will most likely be denied.
  • If you are borrowing money to arbitrage, gamble, or do anything risky then you must leave collateral.

Example Request
Amount requested: .1BTC
Purpose: Buy graphics for my ad campaign
Term: 1 week
Trusted?: I've conducted trades with various users, have been a long time member etc.

On majority of smaller lends (.2 and less) the collateral will simply be your reputation, I will leave you negative trust if you fail to return the borrowed amount by the end of the term. On larger amounts I have the right to ask for other forms of collateral. I'll try to approve/deny all loans within 12 hours.

Why am I doing this?
I'd consider this more of an experiment than anything. Hopefully I can help do some good without getting burned too badly in the end. Anyone reading this that supports this thread, I encourage you to make your own thread and do the same if you are willing to risk whatever you lend out.

Hi Stunna,
How are you?

Amount requested: 0.4 BTC
Purpose: To jumpstart my freelance ventures/Graphic designing to help future btc companies
Term: 2 weeks
Trusted: Yes, I believe so. I haven't been here as long as many, however, for the time I have been here, I've done my best to contribute to the bitcoin community, whether it be for translating the BitStamp website into another language and getting the job done ahead of time, to designing logos or any graphic designs that may be to their liking.  If you'd like references, please let me know.

I appreciate your time.

Thank you

Kindest regards,
Charlene

This sounds interesting... perhaps Stunna could use a fancy new logo for his 0% loans?  As long as it is not some bright flashing gif from the 90's that says you can win with 0% interest =D
