Never invest no product ICOs

Yes it is safer to invest in products which have a working prototype.There is no point of investing in projects which does not have a specific products that there project base on. However there are exceptions as well. For project which have very good team and excellent idea ,sometimes i invest in coin like that. Since the risk is high the return is high as well.The key is to do your due diligence properly.

I think this is one of the many reasons why initial coin offering (ICO) need to be regulated because out of thousands of ICO only view of them are reliable and worthy

Investing in ICO with no product can be good only if you strongly believe in team, idea and so on. on my own, i would choose and ICO with working product and strong partners. By the way, it is still a strong risk that your investment will be loos, but you will cut part of these risks

You are right, it is because many of them have failed in developing their projects, I often see some ICO projects without promising products, failing and the price keeps dropping

I was looking for some ICO project wherein I can use their token to buy special items on their product list, like for example Samsung, if they where to create ICO for them then you can buy phone jelly.casing with customize printout then probably aside from holding you can use their token to buy things in their stores or company.

if the product is tested in market conditions and developed, only in this case it is worthwhile to go to investors for additional financing, otherwise it is either an inefficient product or a scam.

Sometimes, its best not to gamble your money to a project without a mvp or a working product. By joining these campaigns, surely the hype of it is low, and has a possible to turn out as a exit scam. It is better to join in a project where there is a visible mvp or a working product. Surely the hype will go high because they have already proof of their work.

This is a true fact. Most of these new crypto base decentralized project have just a concept. some are not even feasible and practical. They just meant to run an ICO and collect funds. The probability of them to fail is high. People should be vigilant when investing in an ICO.

This proves not only the fact of fraud. But it also proves the fact that people know what they are doing. Usually ICO without a product fall apart due to the fact that they can not calculate the money and do not fully understand how to implement the idea. Because it's innovative.

I agree with this, people are too quickly to invest into an ICO just based on the hype and white paper. If an ICO has a working project, it shows they are always on their way, they have already put time, effort and resources into the project and you can actually look into what you are investing.

I remember Electroneum branding themselves as the next Bitcoin. Started with $0.01 in their ICO last October 2017, launched around $0.10 in December 2017. They never had any working products, just pure paper.

I was wondering, why a lot of projects don't have such an important thing for a successful ICO as a product.

When a company has a product it means they have it to develop. In such case, a company shows why they need ICO and how the company will be growing. What is more, there is more trust because a company has experience in a field they are working.

For example, KickCity company that exists two years. KickCity an event platform that generates revenue and has a Helsinki government grant. KickCity needs ICO to make business bigger and to become a decentralized platform where every user is rewarded for ticket promotion.

On the other hand, no product ICOs can prove their success just in theory. There is no proof base that product will be developed and will be working right.

In such unstable industry as ICO everything has to be under control. The product is one of the things that shows the campaign is not a scam. That is why I believe it is better to invest in ready-made products ICOs.

I absolutely agree with the author of this article.When a team of a project has a finished product the project has every chance of a successful ICO. Investors are now very reasonable in choosing an object for investment (ICO projects)

A lot of projects carried out by ICO do not have a working product. And recently it's some kind of trend to collect money for future developments. I do not advise anyone to invest in such projects.
