You have your part of right OP. But most of people can earn by trading, or just buying and hold bitcoin for a period of time and after sell higher than he bought. I think some people just lose money because they lose their patience and others are just dumpers who after get coins they sell immediately for a small or very small profit.

Op makes a good point though but he/she needs to consider that Crypto market is just like any other market. Just take a look at Stock or foreign exchange market, they all fluctuate like Cryptocurency and still legal in most countries. Why should Cryptocurency be different?  Because you probably are newbie in trading on charts... People need to learn how this things work before getting exposed to them

But if you sell because you panic, that is a wrong decision, you have no chance to make money in crypto because the most effective method

This market is made to make money and profit from noobs it's like a bitconnect scheme. Every dollar that is made by someone, someone will lose money. Every dollar that
is made in this system will be sold to fiat and if there is low btc buy power it will mean that btc will only keep going down. This market is basically made to make
money from new users like a scheme. For example can you actually believe that if you would've put 10k usd into bitconnect you would have a monthly return of about 4500
every month by lending? This is unbelievably high which again means for every btc/dollar you lend out into this cryptocurrency system = someone will lose money that's
the main reason this market won't be there for long. Because it's basically a pyramid scheme.

If you actually sold everything I think it is very profitable to enter the market now ! You made the right choice and you were right. )

If people have sold before then it was fine so that they can buy now again with the price being fallen. But if they are thinking to sell it now would make not much sense unless you are sure that market will never recover from here. Else holding for some more time would benefit has market will bounce back and this has happened always after the fall.
