Sounds like a good idea if you have a multiple property that you can sell a part of your liabilities and invest to bitcoin, but if you only have a single house I think its a bad idea to sell it, maybe apply it to a loan that maybe a much good option.

For me it's just fine, it's your decision and your money. Don't you have any property to sell? Why your house, where are you going to live? Make sure when you start investing you have enough knowledge about it. But for me since its bitcoin its less risk than other investment so do it.

You do not need to sell real estate. This is your capital, you do not need to take chances don't take chances - if you want to pay rent for the rest of your life and live in poverty. Only take chances if you want to be very rich and free from the bullshit of paying a bank interest forever. Yes, you are right compared to paying every month rent it is always good to pay interest to bank. At last after clearing debits for bank and it is going to be our own house. |

this is like a gamble, if you sell your house and the price of bitcoin is rising high, then congratulations, but what if the bitcoin price actually drops to the bottom and you must be forced to evacuate while waiting for bitcoin prices to rise again, it would be very embarrassing

Bitcoin is going up again, are you still thinking of selling your house?
I mean, this is a really big decision for a person to sell their house to buy Bitcoin. Unless you're a multimillionaire or some big fat guy that has a lot of business running for you.
Nevertheless, selling your house for Bitcoin would be the opposite of Laszlo's Bitcoin Pizza.
And the big question is, who in the hell would buy your house?

And where are you going to live now? I guess that's too much for me. I will not be sacrificing my house to buy more Bitcoins. It is enough that almost all the savings are already in Bitcoin. Well, some others are already pawning some of their real estate assets just to add more and more Bitcoins in their portfolios. That might be wise but the risk is also there. I think it is better not to give everything in Bitcoin investment. |

Now that is a risk taker. Kudos for your guts dude. I hope you are aware of the risk you took. However the odds are still in favour of BTC which means it is still in favour of you. sounds like a sensation, do you get mad when selling a house to buy a bitcoin though investing in bitcoin is a profitable investment and you are getting rich from it but there are many ways you do not need to sell your home to buy it |

This could be a good idea mate. But the problem would be where to stay for a while. If you have other house then it would not be a problem. Bitcoins price could go triple and that would make you a fortune in the future.

I suggest that you do not put all the fortune you got from selling your house to buy Bitcoin because that would be very risky. Just put a fraction of what you sold and just wait for the profit. Bitcoin is a good investment idea, however you would not really be able to tell whether it will rise or fall due to its volatility.

If i were on your shoes i would rather look for a lending institution or a bank and get a loan and use my house as a collateral. Pay the loan later on from the profit i will gain from buying bitcoin. Still it is your house and it is your call, goodluck with it. |

Are you got crazy? Its the dumbest idea to sell the house to buy bitcoin. If bitcoin can go this much down then it is also possible that it can go much more down. It is having a high risk. So think about it again and plan smartly.
Why should I sell my house. The House is important in a family where you kept your family if you sell it. No, you sell the House because the House is most important in a family. Better than old debt than sell because the loan is being paid but as something that sold it first not available yet no matter what you do. |

Make it short term chances going $9k is slightly big. The timing is good when its 9k to 13k. I wish I could short sell. Borrow 100btc to sell it at 12.7k. |
