This is somehow a great idea if you have two or more houses. Well if you have only one then think again before doing that. a friend of mine (when I was just starting into trading ) said that i should just invest the amount on what I can afford to lose. I think that selling your house is
1. Plain crazy thought
2. Has a potential crazy consequence
3. A reckless decision.
I suggest that you find other source of income like joining campaigns here or better yet start a small business. We dont want someone going bankrupt or homeless for bitcoin.

Yes, that's is right even though it's crazy to sell your house to buy bitcoins it will be even crazier to invest it only on bitcoin, its better to spread your money into two or three altcoin aside of btc so in case bitcoin continue to fall, you stll have other choices and your lost will be minimized.

bad idea. that is definition of a bad investor, people who sold into Bitconnect actually did such a thing and lost everything. now that was of course a scheme situation
but in general for anyone investing, in crypto, stocks, forex, etc
 never put all your eggs in one basket, never spend what you cant afford to lose.

Well then good luck to you, I respect your Idea, but for me, selling a house for a bitcoin is just a no-no. There are a lot of big risks, it was a gamble, but if you have two or three houses then why not if that's the case I will sell my house too. But it was still pretty scary to do, you don't know when will bitcoin is going to stop, what if the bitcoin bubble is true? anyway, it was still your decision then so be it.

If you want to sell a house and buy Bitcoins, it's a big risk in today's price situation. I also believe in bitcoin but it's up to you. If you decide to do such a risky step, I would definitely split the purchase into Bitcoin and a part of altcoins such as Ethereum and Litecoin.
