It's a very huge risk that nobody else is going to do.
Lots of people have done this. They have all so far ended up with WAY more than the value of their house. They bought back the house and had 10 times as much extra. How much is 10X your house? Wouldn't you like that in your pocket? |

I am sure we touched the bottom today. so i am going to real Estate Dealer for selling my house and buy bitcoin. I suggest you all do that
If you decide to sell your home to invest in Bitcoin then it is a stupid idea, as Bitcoin prices do not go up as you expected. This is a stupid decision, a wrong choice, and too much hope for it. |

It would be funny if everybody on earth would sell their house for bitcoins - who would buy all those houses? Satoshi Nakamoto of course. After that, everybody on earth would have to pay the rent to Satoshi Nakamoto and of course he would set the prices. In gold.

Though bitcoin is a good investment.. You should not risk it all. Like Warren buffet once said, "Dont put all your eggs in one basket". You should only invest what you can afford to lose.. What if the market suddenly crash or have a big correction, the psychological effect if you are new to crypto is bad.

I have read and watch a lot of people do that but mostly people have done it has an extra real estate to spare or even has another way to accommodate their ways of living. But I wouldn't recommend it to people who don't have anywhere else to go as having a house to live in is one of the basic needs in our life without it I don't even think that a good portfolio is a good sacrifice. Selling some disposable assets that can be traded in Bitcoin is of course worth a shot, I would sell my extra piece of land in a heartbeat.

Oh my god you sure have a daring action there!
I know that bitcoin is so promising, and i kinda feel that no matter what, you will be success though it sounds like a crazy plan, because if something go wrong, then you may be homeless.
But unfortunately i'm not brave enough to do that lol.
I need my house to keep living, although bitcoin is promising but i feel like i'm gonna go slow but sure in investing and make sure i get profits in the future although not in a big one.

I think it is a bad idea, you sell your house and buy the bitcoin. better to consider before actually making the decision, because we can not estimate the bitcoin. |

Last year when bitcoin pirce it was 1000$ I told my uncle to mortgage their house to buy bitcoin. My uncle didn't pay attention to me, today they could be living in a big house or at least have much money. I know it's a crazy and risky but if you don't take risk you will never have anything. |

why sell a house to get bitcoin instead of bitcoin that will turn your house into a big one and become a lot if you want. you simply invest bitcoin and follow others such as a hands-on bunch and saving campaign to buy bitcoin. do not start home to buy bitcoin, it's time to get bitcoin not have to sell your house. if selling your house and family will stay where? do buy bitcoin get big income from bitcoin but wait high bitcoin price that long enough.

Although Its safe to assume the sarcastic intention of the OP. Now assuming he was actually serious all I can say is It's always going to be a risk and are you willing to risk being homeless? Now taking a leap of faith can sometimes seem like an appealing idea but the house is just taking it too far. I'm not sure if you're living alone or not but take into consideration every consequence of your action. Now if you went through and developed a plan on how you plan on renting out an apartment with a certain percentage of your earnings from selling the house. And you already have a stable income from a certain job, and have carefully went through multiple possible scenarios then I could understand your decision... Yet I would never see myself doing it. I mean unless .. hah |

Selling house is a smart move , you may get 500% profit as at the end of 2018 bitcoin is expected to rise to $50000  If I had house to sell I would do very same as you brother, but I rent only and think I missed the train. I should have mined bitcoins in 2010  |
