That happens way too often in gambling, that's why there are so many addicted people... They are too greedy and they always want to end up in profit, as they gamble for money instead of for fun. You can never tell when luck is already with you. Even if you have a good budget and if you don't have luck you can never win in game. Only dumb people would risk their last money on playing gambling even he do know that it is already enough for his transportation or fuel but there are really some gamblers-addicted ones would really hope for that last bet to win but when that situation happen on my side then i would leave directly without hesitation and i wont really let myself come to a point that even on transportation money i do have difficulties.

Yes that there are some who really risk even their penny trying to win back their loss. And unfortunately i knew one of them. She used to be my wife's close friend. What so funny about it was. She went home banging their door in a hurry to wake up her mom and asked for money to pay for a cab fare. If my money left on me is for my transportation of course I'll stop gambling because I don't want to go home walking or with empty wallet.
It is hard to chase the money that we lose, it is better go home with small amount than nothing at all.
Gambling is very basic if you already won stop and walked away, and gamble only what you can afford to lose and comeback again another day. Maybe lady luck would smile with you in some other day.

Not sure about lady luck getting soft over time with the gambler but I highly appreciate your decision of stopping the game before losing the money required for transportation. For me, gambling is just an entertainment. Not all people can do gambling especially poor people. Only rich people can enjoy this entertainment. You are saying all this because you haven’t stepped in gambling because if you were a gambler, you wouldn’t have been spotted saying such statements. Gamblers lose much bigger amount than one has discussed but they keep on trying their luck just in the greed of earning more. I appreciate your thinking my friend only if you are telling truth because there are many gamblers who say the same as you are saying but when they come on the game, they break their limitations simply by saying that trying one more time cannot lead me to much losses. But if you are really saying truth, I think you are a smart and clever gambler than majority of them because setting limits for yourself not in gambling but in every field of life makes you bound around basic thing which is beneficial in long terms.

I can bet some people who are so addicted can bet their transportation with the hope of getting lucky until they end up walking home alone in their pants. The thing is a lot of people just love to keep pushing their luck even when it totally becomes glaring that luck is not really on their side. Just like you mentioned, once you win huge, walk away, when you lose big, walk away, any other thing asides that is more like playing with fire.

Same here, I would rather spend my money into something more worthy of it than to use it on playin gambling, there is no sense to continue playing gambling after you have a big lose on it, quitting it is the best idea so far. Continuing gambling means that you are not that wise to realize that gambling will not help you to earn big amount of money.

That's why you are going to say that they are trying to get back their losses because it's hard to profit from it knowing that in gambling it's going to be a risky thing to continue because you are just going to lose more money then expected or planned.
