Many people may regret it. But now it seems. The continuous decline of these days is over? What happens to bitcoin next?
According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

For the nth time, nobody can really tell what will happen to Bitcoin or the whole crypto in general because the world of crypto is a volatile place. The only thing predictable about it is its unpredictability, which is keeping it alive.

It is too early to comment anything on the crypto pricing trend. It is way too more volatile than we can imagine. From last few days the market was constantly going down. That was not only bitcoin but other cryptos as well. Many cryptos lost more than 40% of their value in that down trend. However, it is just from yesterday, it is showing an upward trend but really uncertain about the downward trend has gone or not.

As of now it looks good as the entire crypto makret has entered the green zone and it is a treat to eyes specially for the investors like me who has big money in stake. It looks like it has just started to stabilize around 11k USD. So we need to keep a very close tab on the pricing trend before we can comment anything concrete.

I'm a supporter of an optimistic forecast. I believe that Bitcoin will continue to grow in the near future. This is due to the fact that a lot of live money comes to the crypto currency market. People believed that the crypto currency is not a bubble, that it is a sign of a new, digital economy and in fact a new monetary equivalent. Therefore, interest in crypto-currencies is associated with two things: as a means of accumulation and as a means of speculation - in the good sense of the word.

I think many people are still disillusioned from Bitcoin not appreciating in value forever (who would have thought) so the market is still wary. This leads me to believe that we'll revisit the USD 10,000,- levels again rather sooner than later. Question being whether we hold that level and go up again, or break through with a continuing downtrend. It seems to me like the next few days are going to be critical in terms of short- to mid-term price development.

Yeah and people are going to sell everything okay? Grin

No this is the cycle of bitcoin and its rise and fall. Nothing more than that. Learn to read the graphs of coinmarketcap before you tread on the crypto market. The growth that had occurred in the last few months was "unhealthy" as I have previously said in numerous threads here that the price rise was not natural and it was due to a large number of people buying crypto and now they are panic selling. Possibly the pump will not happen because those people who had put in that cash are now scared and wont invest anytime soon. The net growth will be slower but steadier.

Until now I do not know how bitcoin prices can go up and down but from what I learned this cycle usually happens at the beginning of the year.
According to the bitcoin history that I read in the beginning of the year bitcoin always goes down it is like giving a breath of time to the bitcoiners buying and by the end of the first month bitcoin starts to stabilize and in the second month it starts creeping up again.
Can be said this is a bitcoin stable time so for you bitcoiner users this is your last time to buy bitcoin before bitcoin prices skyrocket.
always positive will happen to bitcoin because bitcoin is a very good future digital money.

The trend lines does look like it's doing the same pattern as it was years ago.
The price is set to go higher years from now.

You said it already.
The decline is over so where else will it go?
There is just up and down, no sideways for bitcoin.
Once projects using bitcoin are implemented then it will be time for us to smile again.

All this ruckus about bitcoin and FUD's will not stop but at the end of the day we all want to ride that wave.

There are only two things that will happen next and it is either it will go down again or will go up this time. But seeing the changes in price lately, it seems that the price of bitcoin will get up again although it is just in small amount still an increase is appreciated by everyone.

The continuous decline of these days is over?
I guess so, everything is green and I love seeing this synchronized market that has +%green at this time.

What happens to bitcoin next?
Expect that it will recover and increase but don't be hasty that it will be pumping too rapid back to $19,000 - $20,000 but we are heading there. But just take a step at a time and be patient, let's wait on what will be the impact of the upcoming conferences for bitcoin this January and February.

Probably a bull run is about to start anytime soon as we can see in the cryptomarkets that everything almost have a green color for its change in the last 24 hours. Alt coins are also affected when bitcoin is down it's because of the paring between these altcoins and bitcoin.

Predicting BTC price is a real show. Many people still guess where BTC price will be in February, in March or at the end of the year. The truth is that nobody knows what will happen with the BTC price. Someone maybe hit the right price of BTC but everything is random.

Nobody can know when the bitcoin value falling down and i never think that declining of value was already over because always fluctuating and changing the value that was not stable but as of the chart that my friend shared to me on what happening right now was same in the previous years. If you are saying the future of bitcoin no one can know what happening next or to the future of bitcoin.

This would still be too early to say crypto industry is recovering, but it would recover for sure.

But this crash has proved that crypto industry is so volatile that even a single news or announcement is capable of crashing the entire industry or any specific coin.

The people who bought high may regret it. A lot of people were thinking that bitcoin's price would rise forever, which obviously was not going to be the case. Based on the general trends right now, we may guess that bitcoin's price may start increasing again, but no one knows for sure.

bitcoin in the future will be the safest and most used method of payment worldwide because with bitcoin we can buy whatever we want and all countries will receive bitcoin from some of the bitcoin is often used and thus trigger the rise and scarcity of bitcoin prices.
