Oh please...soniq actually worried about his account lol like he can't just make a new one...
Perhaps, perhaps not. I don't get the impression that soniq is happy with how this has all turned out, but you could be right. Mike shouldn't be all that unhappy if the unit works somewhat then he has been mining this whole time on it and will likely get fully refunded for it...I'd gladly be in his shoes right now...that surely is better then giving soniq money n seeing nothing for it...
You are not familiar enough with the details of the transaction to declare such a statement to be fact. I assure you that MikeMike is definitely NOT happy with how this transaction has played out. He may be more or less happy than you, but your unhappiness does not define his. How bout this...you just refund Mike all his btc so at least one person is happy with what soniq has done?
I can not do that. As escrow agent, I am obligated to enforce the terms of the agreement as closely as possible. Not like I trust soniq to actually payout and even if he did he'll probably skim off it..not like we could find out he did or not cause his accounting sucks...
There is nothing I can do about that. I was not asked to hold escrow for this transaction. and Danny you should be fine...I'm sure nobody will hold you liable for anything in this mess...
I only hope you are correct. Regardless, it has still been a huge waste of my time to try and resolve the mess between MikeMike and soniq. I've spent a rather significant amount of time organizing and cataloging the many emails and PMs that I received regarding this transaction just to keep straight who said what and when. I certainly can't say it was one of my more enjoyable escrows.

I would like it to be clarified if the so-called "5th unit" that was delivered late is in fact unit #3 (the one sent back to Cointerra) in our gb. For accounting purposes.

I suspect so, but only soniq can answer that question for certain.

I suspect so, but only soniq can answer that question for certain. Yes, the late unit was #3. It was known to the buyer that TM#3 was having warranty work and agreed to wait a few days for Cointerrra to deliver. What we didnt know was how Cointerra would manage to mess up the the shipping. After sending clear instructions to Cointerrra not to send the repaired unit to me, they sent it too me anyways. Then I was informed that Cointerra could redirect the package to the buyer. After a a few days delays with email, Cointerra informed me because it was international shipment it had to be shipped back to them and they would resend to the buyer. At this point me and the buyer were still ok, but buyer wanted a refund on the original amount as the shipping was delayed. I was ok with that. What we didnt know was it would take Cointerrra over three weeks to get TM#3 sent back to there factory and redelivered to the right address. This is where the negotiation process broke down. The buyer was still interested in purchasing, but wanted a very large refund for the late delivery. This is where we could not come to an agreement and negotiations were stalled. But we have come to an agreement now and the escrow has been released https://blockchain.info/tx/219d6b8fb2df3b093dae67abdd195cee38ed9fcae03b7bac9568a6859c1d2940I have to clarify some numbers on spreadsheet with my programmer and will be sending out payment ASAP

DannyHamilton, thank you for your professionalism in this issue and all the time invested in it.
Soniq (Larry), I dont know what happened, or why you mysteriously decided to come back after all this time, but I am glad that you decided to do so.
MikeMike, apologies to you as well for having to deal with this mess, although its not our fault.
Everyone else, hopefully this is the ending of this long saga.
Looking forward to our first and last and only payment for this group buy.

You didn't have an escrow agent.

You didn't have an escrow agent. Just an FYI- It's typical for Soniq to take a week or two to respond let alone supposedly he needs to go through someone else to crunch the numbers. We at the Jupiter GB's are waiting as well for Mining, Sale of the Jupiter Units BTC and NMC payouts. I do hope Soniq is able to come through on all due payments to us all. My apologies for the delay a Family Emergency had caused. It added at least a couple weeks to the process. Sincerely, MM
