i7 3630 here too. After three hours I have 3 blocks and had 5 orphans and 2 rejects also. I wonder if that's average?

i5-3570k - 12 accepts, 4 orphans. I started probably an hour or so before you though, so that's probably about right.

What's this -q -s 3 -r 999??
Try mining without using "-q -s 3 -r 999" that is, the shares are not visible, only blocks found? with -q it only shows accepted shares like this, without current hashrate: Thanks, I got it. And why do I have 401 error on another computer.I've done everything as only one changed the login and password in the config file but will not start. What to do? I have the same problem. Initially tried connecting to the same wallet and then got a new wallet for that. Please help - can only mine on my old laptop right now and got 1 block Any solution to this problem? Also rattling my tin if anybody is in a good mood KYt6UNRT8hk2KCcHNKePwatngWNAe1CGRZ

What's the issue? Can't connect to a wallet on another computer? You'd have to: 1) Stop the wallet 2) Add this in your kingcoin.conf file (assuming you're on a 192.168 network): 3) Start the wallet 4) Connect to whatever you local IP is, example: KingCPUMiner.exe -a scrypt-new -o 192.168.1.2:33333 -u u -p p

KingCPUMiner.exe -a scrypt-new -o http://localhost:33333 -u u -p p works, too.

Can someone create a linux ubuntu 64 bit guide for this coin ? like the newbie guides gigawatt does. Then put your wallet address inside your sig for donations
I can create one for you or the public if you want Do I make an [ANN] ? I don't think this guy came through with it right? i don't see any ANN with a linux step by step guide kingcoin - why if you know and have done it are you not supporting your own coin and writing a step by step linux guide for mining this coin? ?

Any feedback on the guide is helpful. Great guide i will test this when i can get to my main pc, but with the cpu miner can it user minerd?? i thought kingcoin needed its own special cpu miner from the OP? or does the one in the guide work?

Yeah for sure, however one guy has been kind enough to make a guide so lets contribute to his wallets when we get it working. Why the hell kingcoin himself does not help wtf knows.

I think the guide is incorrect on this. I don't think the jgarzik cpuminer will work with kingcoin. If you want to use an external miner you're stuck with the custom Windows miner for which source code hasn't been released, last I checked.
