Im trying to mine on EC2(cc2 8x large), getting 2400 hashs but my 2500k on my w8 machine here is getting upwards of 12000.

Maybe you are using the wrong cpu miner.


we are still working on the cpuminer, as you see, there seems to have some bugs in cpuminer, when we make it stable, we will release it.

The QT client or daemon must be running, your user & pass need to be the same as in kingcoin.conf. Read carefully the first post

Possibly. I built the one from the op. Its throwing a few bugs my way but seems to "function" however as we can see its not performing all to well. If theres anything I can do to help test any updated src just let me know.

You will get hashes but any block will be rejected as it uses a new algo.

In the config login and password the other. What am I doing wrong?

What's this -q -s 3 -r 999??

-q = quiet mode, shows only accepted shares
-s = scan time in seconds (for example the miner is looking for a new piece of work every 3 seconds)
-r = number of retries in case of broken connections etc.

There are no shares for solo mining.... You either find the whole block or you don't. Get rid of "-q" and you'll see your speed.

It works, I already compiled linux QT, just use make -f makefile.unix USE_UPNP=- you will get kingcoind, compile qt is also the same as other coins.

Please just write a full guide it wont take more than 5 mins

I already see kingcoind inside the kingcoin/src folder before i even start with the  -f makefile.unix USE_UPNP=-

I've done everything as only one changed the login and password in the config file but will not start.
What to do?
