Bitcoin fees are higher than any other coin. This is due to a lack of scalability and thus high mining fees, which also effects transaction speeds. Ethereum and LiteCoin have much lower fees and send much faster. XRP is cheaper and faster than that. IOTA is free but their wallet is not quite up to par yet. This market is still very young and growing. Eventually these issues will be worked out. But the great thing about competition is that you can choose which method you want to use. And if you’d rather stay in the fiat world you’re free to do that as well.

Well I do think that the faster and cheaper cryptocurrencies. In the market are affecting bitcoins in a good way, since now developers are seeing the need of change now they are seeing how they are supposed to change according to the market , how they need to reduce the fee and make it faster.
We are seeing business developments like... Transaction accelerator and it's even free , I do think that they all are helping bitcoins to improve and it's incredible.

Yes, I know that someday all crypto coins will work as fine with other alt coins. And eventually will work will fiat as well. Our world is evolving and we really need crypto in our lives someday.

It's a good thing that more and more altcoin is trying to go beyond bitcoin, because technically they've already exceeded bitcoin.
But the BTC is still the encryption money market leader, it will not be replaced by any tokens, this is the same truth, if have tokens, replaced the BTC, so the encryption will collapse in the currency markets.

Ethereum and LiteCoin have much lower fees and send much faster.
they are also far less used than bitcoin so they have lower fees based on their lower usage.
ETH has a bigger usage and it has a higher fee. fees that have reached $4 per transaction in times of congestion. and the blockchain of it is so huge that you can no longer use a full node unless you are a centralized server.

Quote
XRP is cheaper and faster than that.
it also is un-used and centralized. if you want to use a centralized payment system use Paypal.

Quote
IOTA is free but their wallet is not quite up to par yet.
it can not handle that many transactions per second. so it has a scaling issue although it is so much better that blockchain based cryptos.

Quote
about competition is that you can choose which method you want to use.
very true.
hopefully we start seeing some real competition this year instead of centralized shitcoins such as ETH and XRP.

A lot of coins have gone beyond bitcoin technically but bitcoin still has 34.8% of the total market cap currently. It seems bitcoin is not going to die because of technical lack.

Bitcoin doesn't exceed it's maximum yet, Yes it got higher price and sure the most expensive of them all because it is the first Cryptocurrency ever made and I really think that it can still goes beyond that last All Time High, And I agree that any Atcoins or token can not replace Bitcoin if it does the market will sure collapse, I can not see any Coins can replace bitcoin just like in the fiat currency where dollar reign supreme.

I think crypto is quick and cheap from other currencies. Bitcoin influences the market. Now the changes of Bitcoin are being noticed, it's more develop. Think about how to reduce its fees and make it faster faster. Recent Bitcoin is improving the business. Bringing a lot of changes in the transaction, improving the transaction system.

Bitcoin is bloated now, same as ethereum. However, it already has the brand established so the community just needs to sort out a technical solution. I think this is easier than trying to market an unknown coin with better technical specs.

Charges for bitkoyn are printed at high speed and cheaper, so they do not receive this very large advertising that affects prices, it's a good way out of the poor.

I'm not worried about the price of a bitcoin transaction. I always make a transaction of a large amount of bitcoins to the exchange and change bitcoin to Fiat. Then do any shopping with my MasterCard or visa. If I need to make a transfer in cryptocurrency I use double exchange for XRP. It's cheap and fast.

Cryptocurrency is a good online currency and actually it helped me a lot on my finances. But let us be reminded that not all areas in the world and not all people have access to the internet. I am in love with cryptocurrency especially with bitcoins but at the end of the day I have no choice but to convert it to fiat money so I can buy food for my family and pay my bills and etc. If I will go to the rural area there is no internet connection in that place and people have no computer or smartphones then it is very crucial to say that we need also fiat currency.

You have not taken one serious part into your consideration. Bitcoin is one of the highly used networks, and thus because of high usage we see limitations of it. Honestly there is one guy who can take credit for shilling that scalibility is the issue -Rodger Ver, he wanted all of us to switch to Bcash and thus he promoted that this was huge issue. But in fact with SegWit in place you could transact with cheaper fees and faster confimrattion time. When theres and obstacle, let the devs find the way, they will. This is still experimental tech. IOTA is free but centralized+ you could wait long enough for your transaction to be confirmed by the network, there are other "feeless" coins such as NANO if you are interested. But yet even by being free they are have other issues that need to be worked on. So far I think nano is fastest, but not fully decentralized.

Good point. I understand that people living in developing countries would most likely tend to convert their crypto into fiat currencies for survival purposes and no one should judge them in this case since everyone are free to do whatever they wish to do with their coins since it is their hard earned money in the first place. Some people ignore this point and tend to blame different people for driving down the value of Bitcoin or any other coins for that matter which is stupid and uncalled for. Just remember to secure your assets and don't blame others for your losses.

Yes, there are a lot of good altcoins now, they're trying to replace bitcoin, but I don't think there's a altcoin that can replace bitcoin. Although these COINS in technology has transcended the COINS, but the bitcoin over the past few years to get the welcome of people around the world it is not only reflected in the price of the technology, also reflected in people's recognition

And the market affects bitcoin price. I believed on crypto because I'd experience how many times transacted from the other country.

In January, the situation with bitcoin was really bad. The present does not even fall the crypto-currency market, and the crisis in this market has largely provoked the shortcomings of bitcoin. People have still invested in bitcoin in inertia, and he could no longer sustain such a demand technically and the situation became unbalanced. We are now practically witnessing the consequences of ignoring the need for the technical improvement of the leader of the crypto currency in the still not mature crypto-currency market. Although there are already coins and tokens, which outperform bitcoin in its functionality. We need to get rid of the dependence of bitcoin on the crypto-currency market.

BTC has a much larger ecosystem of investors, developers and an established (and growing) number of believers. As you say, competition is good, it will keep the big coins in check. If there is ever an altcoin that develops a truly revolutionary feature be sure to see btc adopt said feature as well. You can't overlook btc's power with how vast its resources are. All that said, again, as crypto enthusiasts we should welcome new altcoins (but true altcoins not scams) that spark new ideas and technologies. The plan is to have these currencies stay.
