This is changelog of xpm High performance miner.

Changes in -hp9:
 * Sunny's mining optimizations from 0.1.2.
* Minor mining optimizations from mtrlt and gatra.
 * Small sieve optimizations for 32-bit processors.
 * Sunny's new chains/day estimate.
 * Sunny's new 'listprimerecords' RPC command.
 * New default value for roundsievepercentage is 70 on mainnet (better chains/day, equal 5-chains/h).

So it is evident that mtrlt was working, he was doing something. It says minor, so maybe it was not such a big deal. But yeah, it would be good if he updated the status or provide the beta testers with current version. Maybe that would release some of the pressure he is currently under.

The nature of programming is, that it is done when it is done... And it usually takes much longer to complete goals than it was planned. And creating primecoin gpu miner is not piece of cake. I doubt mtrlt is using OpenCL on daily basis. He probably didn't use OpenCL for anything else but his reaper miner. So if he is not that versed in OpenCL, we should give him more time.

Would be good to hear a word from him.

Well this makes sense. He might have lied about the GPU miner. But he can't scam you if you donated, you didn't pay for anything.
You donated for his "work".

Alright I'll start with the first one:

1. He hid the donation address from the thread that was exposing how much money he received, but he gladly showed his BTC address in the thread that did not have any information about how much money he received. My point holds perfectly.

Your logic: People who find out how much money he made will be less likely to donate to him, so thus moving his address to a fresh thread will make him richer.

Alright there are a couple of problems. How will exposing the amount of money he made affect anything? It's like saying, "You shouldn't go to McDonalds because they made $3 billion last year." Unless you have solid proof that he is indeed scamming, not just conjecture, then it won't affect anything.

In fact, exposing the amount of money he made will make him more likely to receive donations. It's simple psychology. When someone see's that many people have trusted him, he/she will be more likely to trust him as well.

Also, I am sure that 99.99999% of everyone on this forum knows how to look up a BTC address. If he wanted to hide how much money he made, why did he use the same address?

There are a few more problems with that logic, but those were my main concerns.

And also #3:

3. He put it on the top of the new thread. He wasn't referring to the jealous idiots, he was referring to me after I reposted his BTC address's balance in the thread. (That is the post he deleted)

You're logic: He didn't want people to see his BTC address balance so he deleted your comment.

If you go to the last page of the original thread, there is someone drooling over the 74ish BTC he got. He made the new thread because people like you kept posting his 75BTC. Who the fuck cares? If he wanted to hide how much money he got, why did he use the same donation address (refer to above)? You really think he would be that stupid?

Also your last comment: He hid the BTC address after people started getting unhappy because they found out how much money was in that BTC address

Okay someone tell me that isn't jealousy. Wow, I wonder. Would they have been unhappy if those BTC were in their account?

Cry Cry Cry Wow I can't believe mtrlt got 75BTC. Why can't I sit on my lazy ass all day and make 75BTC.  Cry

No.

All other of my facts that you speak of as if false that I have made are correct as far as we are concerned.

"Correct as far as we are concerned" What does that mean?
I thought we were talking facts here and aren't they always true otherwise they are no longer a fact.

1. Average US income was assumed to be minimum wage due to the general state of the economy. This was an error on my part, and I acknowledge it.
2. I never called myself a journalist. Don't put words in my mouth.

Well, there is nothing more for me to say, because your whole debunking-of-all-my-facts streak was just correcting one erroneous statement I made. All other of my facts that you speak of as if false that I have made are correct as far as we are concerned.

The reason I chose this thread title was to gain attention to raise awareness to the situation I am trying to get eyes on. You gotta make enthusiastic titles, and asking a question like I did there is the best way. Tongue As I said, I'm not pretending to be a journalist or a reporter. I'm just helping people know what's going on.

Any further bias I have added past the original post has been due to my bitterness. I acknowledged it.

Even if I was biased, It still doesn't change the fact that mtrlt could have scammed us, for all we know, and I think that is something that everyone should know. Ultimately, I think you're just trying to seek ways to discredit me. Did Mtrlt pay you to write that post?  Roll Eyes He sure could have with that 45 BTC that has left his BTC address.

Or maybe I have schizophrenia. Tongue

You decide.
Thank you for your kind words, please see this thread:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=280201 for my reply. (Post #4)

Perhaps there never will be an effective gpu miner.
In time a GPU miner will be created, it's just like trying to juggle 10 balls at once... if at first you don't succeed, try, try again.  The individuals inate abiliy combined with a drive to succeed will determine the length of time this will take.
