Do you consider a market correction a depression? I recommend that you study some principles,  you can find them on past charts or read veteran topics in the Great Depression from 2010 to early 2016. We have to thank for the prices being in the heights.

Note* I write about projects that can do something for society. Now whether this will happen depends not on me, but on the project team. I'm just a writer... DYOR

How can you call that as great crypto depression if the fact that it caused by fud from south korean government to give uncertainty news to the crypto. The latest news said that south korea  official involved in the crypto trading which means if that's totally bullshit and that's why the price back again.

I don't consider that dip a big dilemma rather an oppurtunity to invest more and acquire more potential coins. Always fixed your mindset whenever moments like this come and never do panic selling. Be patient enough.

DID EVERYONE SURVIVE THE GREAT CRYPTO DEPRESSION OF JAN 2018???

It was the great depression of January 2018. But that is all. It is far from being any special depression of Crypto or Bitcoin. Not even anything special what happened only in 2017. Boring!

DID EVERYONE SURVIVE THE GREAT CRYPTO DEPRESSION OF JAN 2018???

Of course. Still alive and kicking all the way. Though there are moments that you really want to sold everything and get out of the market, however, everyone should look at it long term. This is just a test for all of us, if you are not shaken, then you can call yourselves, strong hands, which always wins in this kind of battle.

Oh, you mean the slight crypto fart a few days ago? Yes, me alongside a million other crypto owners laughed and played computer games through it!  Grin

LOL, I'm been watching movie marathon mate.

Exactly, this kind of market crash is really a once in a lifetime opportunity to get into the market. I don't know what other have been thinking, but everyone should buy while the price is at a discount.

DID EVERYONE SURVIVE THE GREAT CRYPTO DEPRESSION OF JAN 2018???

Hi, Yes thank you it was hard but i have been mining a new coin which helped alleviate the pain. Its a new minable coin.

They say 2018 will be the year for the privacy coins and i like a new kid on the block - Turtlecoin (TRTL). Just over a month old and only started trading on its first exchange, tradeogre.com a few days ago. Current price on tradeogre is 4sats - was 1sat yesterday lol.

Its easy to mine  - if you have a decent GPU you should be able to get 20K coins per day. A lot of folks are throwing nicehash power at the pools recently so mining payoff on your own GPU has come down a bit.

https://turtlecoin.lol/

Have a read of the website and head over to the discord group where you will find a lot of friendly people to help you out with any questions.

No ICO, No premine, no shenanigans.

DID EVERYONE SURVIVE THE GREAT CRYPTO DEPRESSION OF JAN 2018???
I learnt it is a usual event every jan since the past 4 years, if this is the case we should be used to it by now and don't panic sell when this happens.

I was a bit conservative but I saw so many positive news regarding building whole ecosystems with really useful  projects. So I am very optimistic now. We are moving into decentralized world.

In the economy, everything is cyclical. The same goes for the crypto currency market. But its cycles have deeper fluctuations. This is due to the fact that the market is essentially young

Each time when the price decrease or when the market experience a huge dump, many of the investors get panic and sell their coins due to the fear of excessive loss. If you see the earlier chart of the market capitalisation, every time after huge dump, a new all time high is again recorded. So when the price decrease it is temporary like a storm, it never continue too long. Those who are new to cryptocurrency get worried of the downfall. The one who has knowledge take advantage and invest much as affordable. So i would suggest everyone to have patience and hold the coin for better future.

Also note that in every January similar situation happens. Maybe we can get a lesson this year, and take a good position for the next January.

Well, I can say about Polybius. It did not survive. I bought it on ICO a year ago. Since then, I can not even get my money back. Before the great drop, this coin began to grow rapidly to $ 12. I did not have time to sell. Then the market fell ..... And what do we see? 6.5 dollars ..... This is lower by 2 times than I bought on ICO, if counted in Ethereum.

In this drop there is nothing wrong, on the contrary, this is a good chance to buy at a low price. In February there will again be a big growth, as in the previous year.

This is a temporary. There is no "depression". It was already before and will be again. This is the market.

Was that a depression? It was just a small bump in the road but yeah I did not just survived that bloodbath, I also profited from it. Bought all I can during that cryopto dump and made x2 profit almost immediately. Just a few hours after I bought the price bounced back. Lucky me.

you are not panicing or fearing Cryptodepressions if you understand the reasons and forces that drive cryptocurrencies, and why they are not stoppable.
