People started using it and then it went up. It is still fairly early and there is plenty of room for bitcoin to grow. For a late comer like me, buying Bitcoin is not too late maybe a bit late but still don't really matter to me since I don't care about the price though it is just a bonus if we have some on our wallets of course.
