Whales do not want the market to crash they will be ruined as well, the only ones that want that are politicians and banks and yet they are powerless if they do not hold coins themselves and if they hold coins then they help bitcoin and altcoins so there is no way for the market to ever touch zero.

We are at $600Billion right now, so just reaching $2 trillion by the end of the year is not a biiiiig deal, i think that we can really achieve that.

As long as there is money in other investments it can grow.  Basically crypto gives people another option to invest in and some of them are taking their money out of traditional investments and putting into crypto.  The limit is literally the total market cap of investments world-wide, but it will take a few decades to get there.  I don't think that it will be 100% crypto though.

Insider info from reliable sources, yes we should trust a bitcointalk account with no reputation. We should trust that a guy with reliable inside sources has such a junior account and is willing to boast about it to every one on this forum. And we should of course expect that there are big insiders able to exert control over a decentralized asset or assets. And yes, we all believe whales are going to crash the market because they are sick of making so much money.

It is quite amazing how big the crypto market could be in the coming years. This only shows that more and more people are becoming interested in this system. Bit by bit the population is being educated on how the crypto currency system works and that they are starting to see the benefits and potentials of investing in it.

I am sure that after this, we can see the cryptocurrency will grow more with many people involve in the cryptocurrency. the cryptocurrency tries to reach many people and I am sure that the market itself will grow faster than before because I see many people are trying to invest their money in many coins. besides that, I think the increase in the market will not just reach 10 times but more than 10 times and this will be a good news for the cryptocurrency itself.

Yes you have a point. No one knows the other usage of this crypto currencies, aside from earning profit from it. And if we will going to measure of how big this crypto market before the year will end i think this will be worth millions or even trillions but no one will know about how much is that.

To say the least, it's not even interesting to consider the total capital, the main thing for me is to get at least two percent of this amount, then we can say that I did everything in vain and risked it.

Hard to tell but I'd say we will see 5-10 trillion in the next 4-10 years.

It is quite hard to suggest what is going to happen with crypto when everyday is adventure. People keep losing or making money but truth was clear, market kep growing in total. I think I can safely bet it will surpass 1 trillion dollars in 2018. I can't estimate further.

Let me put a figure for this year: x3. I know it looks a bit crazy, but I think we will see a wave of ICOs 2.0, much better developed as people has had more time to prepare.

What are you basing this prediction off of? 2 trillion is about 4x the current market valuation. What would propel this big increase that too in less than a year's timeframe?

With so many people and groups coming in and not to mention, new coin/token being launch daily we could go as high as 4 trillion, the adoption is very fast after Bitcoin hit an all-time high and other altcoins are proving to be a profitable venture too.

I dont think people will take their money from other investment and put it in cryptocurrency without knowing and believe.

Imagine if crypto is adopted by all nations as their legal tender...which is a possibility.
