According to some numbers which I have seen in crypto related media we already have reached the amount of private investor's funds here in crypto market comparing to dotcom bubble. From the other point of view it is absolutely uncertain where those inventions "live" money. Also it is uncertain how much institutional money (including everything, even investing into pre-ico sales to sell the shares and reinvest in BTC indirectly) are now in crypto. And finally we do not know (and personally do not want to) how much cost institutional interests in crypto's.

What are you basing this prediction off of? 2 trillion is about 4x the current market valuation. What would propel this big increase that too in less than a year's timeframe?

As long as there is money in other investments it can grow.  Basically crypto gives people another option to invest in and some of them are taking their money out of traditional investments and putting into crypto.  The limit is literally the total market cap of investments world-wide, but it will take a few decades to get there.  I don't think that it will be 100% crypto though.

I think you don't get it. When you have high percentage of premine value you can lock/not sell coins and total marketcap will grow but actually circulating supply will be lower and coin has higher rank. Just look at Ripple, it might be a good example. Marketcap number is some kind of illusion.

I do not know about that, we are seeing more and more icos and each one seems to be just a copy of another project, there are a few that may be worth your investment but for the most part I see an ico market that is going down in quality and when we take into account the new regulations then the market of icos seems to have difficult times ahead of it.
