Frankly not enough people do their research, let alone read the whitepapers.

It should not matter what the ICO was, since any coin that has those kind of specs will be known as a sham.

There are many scammers making ICOs to scam people as they know there are many newbies in the crypto market at this time and they do not know how to check if the ICO is good or not so they invest in any ICO where they only see something good so they make scam ICOs and tell good things about that so newbies invest in those ICOs and they scam them and take their money and go away.

That's why research is important. You always need to read the fine print and try to avoid scams.

Even if you read their whitepaper and their roadmap all of it has a positive outlook about their ICO they will not put a negative and a thing that may get their ICO with a bad side I really think you need to research any further and look for their developers, founders and co founders if they had a trustworthy back ground or you can see a great ICO by their services and product if its gonna be a hit to the public.

i agree with this, before we put our money to the said ico we must read the white paper and website. some people just invest without reading the ico's information, without reading the website and whitepaper just invest the money without knowing that one day they might be lose thier money.

Anyone can be deceived by words in whitepapers and such. The mindset of every investors if they will make profit from it. That's the bottomline and there's no more. I feel bad for those who were scammed by those bad projects.

In this case, just to break even with your investment, the guy would need to make a x1000 value. I insist, just to break even.
