From the first glance BP looks like a simple navigator. What`s the key difference from the other products present in the market?

BP has additional features. For example, augmented reality mode.

Are there any info on which AR gear they`ll use? I bet there is room for more partnership with AR-producing companies.

I *think*, that they plan to use google glasses with AR mode.

And I think they will develop their own special glasses.

I think that instead of developing their own glasses by themselves, the team will order a company specializing in AR gear to produce glasses under BoatPilot franchise. This way it`ll be more efficient, as learning to produce AR gear from scratch will be too long and expensive.

So basically BoatPilot project it is not just a simple navigator as it consists of three elements:
1. BoatPilot - the navigator itself.
2. Pocket Skipper - service app, here you can check ads, book yachts etc. As far as I know it`s not released yet.
3. BoatGod - the most interesting part for me. Hardware module that gathers Geodata and helps to keep community`s maps up to date.

Altogether, if we consider both BoatGod and promised AR capabilities, this is one of the most (if not the only) hardware-driven projects out there.

Seems so. I`d appreciate if they release more info on PocketSkipper and BoatGod - BoatPilot is a navigator, that`s as simple as that, but the two other features (together with the AR) are the main point of interest.
I do hope we see more in the nearest future.

I believe this announcement silence means that the developers are working hard on implementing/testing features. Preparing for 2019?

I think that most likely it will be in early 2019.

Not really much to say anymore right now, I agree. They have a working app, they finished all the airdrops and bounties, now they have to work hard on project itself.

Yep, we`ll wait for the updates.

Besides, you have a point. At the very least it`ll make another partner for the project and may possibly reduce the price of the gear. I imagine boxed version of the BoatPilot (may be deluxe version?) with tablet with pre-installed BoatPilot, BoatGod and AR glasses included. If this will be the case, I wonder what`s the most suitable name for the glasses?

That is true, however it`s not good to be left in the dark about the project you care about. You have to keep the community updated, as everybody already stated, I also expect them to release an update asap.

I see some NAVY in trade on Livecoin. Consider buying some for holding, hope later in 2019 the price will rise.

Nope so far, but I think about it.
What do you think by the way, what`s the future of the NAVY token? Will it mostly be used for transaction within BoatPilot ecosystem or will be used mostly in trading?

I also think about buying. It seems to me this token has a good potential not only in the project ecosystem.

And it seems to me that NAVY tokens will be valued exclusively in the project ecosystem. The project is certainly interesting, but I am skeptical about the liquidity of tokens.

As for the token`s future, I also think it`ll be mostly used within the project. Although, I believe it will have a rather active use at that - after all, the amount of declared features that involve the token already looks nice.

Personally, I believe there is future for the token to be actively traded - the base is strong, all is left is to focus on marketing and feature implementation.
In any case, at the very least token will be used inside BoatPilot - just as utility token supposed to work.
