As for the token`s future, I also think it`ll be mostly used within the project. Although, I believe it will have a rather active use at that - after all, the amount of declared features that involve the token already looks nice.

Yes I agree. I think tokens definitely need to be bought by those who are planning to actively use the Boat Pilot.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Or by those who understand that the current price is rather low now and it`ll go up with the new updates and releases - although, you may need to hold for some time, at least until 2019.

The price of the token is very low, the daily trading volums are very small, the token can be removed from the exchange and the price will be even lower.

I heard different opinions, including that the price of tokens will go down further.
Nevertheless, I wanted to take a chance and buy it.
I think that the project is promising, since there is a lot of innovation in it.
The creators are doing what others haven`t tried to do before.
It's my opinion.

If we are talking about this, then who knows what exactly you can pay for with this tokens in the app?

That would be unfortunate, really. I believe the devs realize this and will take some measures to fix the situation.

I also feel optimistic about the project. Things may not look that good at the moment, but the project has really great potential. Token and its price is only the part of it, and it seems not the most important one.

Devs know. It`s stated in the WP that you can use token for renting yachts and marinas, this feature is tied to BoatSkipper - that`s all exact info I could find at the moment, there should be more info once the BS is released.

I know that BoatPilot's loyalty program will be made available to users who maintain NAVY tokens in their e-wallets.  Users will be rewarded with bonuses and gifts for retaining NAVY tokens in their wallets for a specified period of time.

I wonder what these rewards could be. Isn`t it some kind of quasi-premium feature, by the way?

It`s not, it`s just early backer reward - they`ll just get some tokens, not unique features available only for those who paid for them. This practice is common for some other projects, actually.

Everybody are so focused on the token while the project itself is far more interesting, to be honest.

I wonder how will BP collect and transmit data to all of the ship` systems?

BoatGod module is connected to the yacht and receives data from all of the vessel's devices transferring it to the tablet display via Wi-Fi.

So I`ll ask the next question, if you don`t mind. What BP is gonna do with this data? To gather geodata for charts updating?

You`re right, I wonder if people will have to modify their boats` systems somehow. I hope not, it`ll be too much of a hassle. It should be simple plug-in module, I believe. Connecting by USB may be?

Special modifications are not needed.
I don’t know for sure about USB, but I heard that BoatGod connect via Wi-Fi.

What is the basic difference in principles of working between BP and Navionics, for example?

Oh, that`s nice to know that you don`t need to make any hardware modifications to your boat.

I see. Any specific info on the protocols in use?
