I think the risk of investing in ICO is very high. Now 90 percent of ICOs are scams. If you want to invest in ICO, then I think you have to first judge the authenticity of your ICO project, which is hard to judge. If you are lucky, I think you can make money.

90% is a very big number, I don't really just join ICO because of the hype, I do research and I make sure the team behind has a good reputation.
ICO is not regulated so expect more and more will run their own but the reviews is also very important for you to know so you
can make a good decision, good thing now we have good reliable sites that would help us if we will just be resourceful.

the risk of being invested in ICO is when the ICO fails and brings away all investors' money and not only that if the ICO succeeds but the price can not go up even always collapse it makes the investors lose.

Yeah i think yes the risk is too high. There are also a lot of risks in ICO investing. As you can see the number of ICO project is really great, some of them are good, some of them are not good and the rest are scam project. It's really difficult to know which project is good or scam if you're not a professional ICO investor.

ICOs investments are always a risk if the project you are planning to invest don't have clear vision about what they want to give to cryptoworlds. Before investing ICOs do your research about their project like team experience & background, team activeness, partnership, hype, roadmap and most important do they have actual working product. If you find some ICOs good after research than and than only invest. Now a days lots of ICOs are coming up in month and they raise fund before and take time to launch their mainnet which sometimes takes more than a years and succeed or they fails to fulfill their promises as mentioned in the Roadmap and runaway with funds raised which ultimatley leads your invested funds towards locking. Invest in ICOs which have clear vision about their vision, technology with working product and solid background.

You should be try it to know level of risk of this kind of investment, but in my opinion indeed make invest in ICO has high risk but also promising huge profit. Many token price a few month since ICO going up by multiple even more than 30 times just in 3 month. That is always a risk with icos and it is something that happens quite frequently that is why it is really important to make sure that the project in which we are investing is a legit one

That is the worst risk and you should be prepared to accept all the consequences. Investing in an ICO is an option and you can not just keep quiet because if you will not. Choose ICO or try other ways like trading if you want income. I disagree on the thing you do said on here since we do all know theres no safe investment on this world

I do not think you can develop the income you get. Investing in ICO can be an option to earn extra income, yes as you say that investing in ICO is quite risky because there are so many ICO's that fail and they can not convince the market. You need to know that every investment has the risk and how much the risk depends on how much money you invest. besides that, every ico that launch cannot always give good results in the future

Binance is also a very successful and profitable project for investors and CZ CEO in less than a year. Not all ICO projects are bad, but most projects are not feasible or do not meet the plans set out in the roadmap. Example adult video, fake news, etc. are the normal issues, but why do we need to use blockchain to develop these fields?

From what I know about the risks of investing money on ICO:
- The occurrence of fraud / scam
- Illegal practice
- There is no regulation / guarantee from the government

Theres comes to a point on where cryptocurrency is already being used into things which already arent necessary to be created this is why those projects to failed down when they do launch an ICO.Going back when ETH has started i miss those times on where the price is just $1 and now imagine on how big it did grow. ICO investments do always accompanied by a certain risk on losing money.If you do believe on such project then its your choice to hold up.

You've taken a step in the right direction. I love that. ICO investing should be handled critically. It's not something you just line immediately to throw your money all in the name of investing. It's worth noting that when one is investing in an ico, he/she is investing in a relatively new project with only experimental products and the development are at infant stages. Any investment will undoubtedly have risks, as a note if you want to invest in ICO carefully in advance if the project is supported by Team and Dev that have the capacity, at least you read the whitepaper to know more clearly about the project.

From my experience ICO investment is a big risk, you know that we do not know if their ICO is running fast or sluggish and as roadmap or not in the future, maybe the worst thing is we invested our money on ICO scam or failed, or maybe the developer is inconsistent in the running ICO, but on the other hand ICO investment can bring huge profits, yes it depends on which ICO you invest.
