Solo mining is already implemented. Documentation is available on GitHub. We are currently negotiating with commercial pools.

I like the way when they say you can mine through your cell and it's not a simulation, this is something missing from popular coins in the market I will have to see if they can accomplish this or they are just promising so they can gain support to their project.

BTW - 2000+ blocks mined so far, starting 2 days ago

I had that as well, but the daemon synced and then mining could be started normally.
Try waiting for it to fully sync.
