What are some examples of the tools that the team has developed for hedge funds and brokers in the past? Which of these will be implemented through the STeX platform?

Is STeX selling to U.S. investors, and if so, is there concern for U.S. investors that STeX is considered a security because of the monthly commission/dividend payments?

It looks like whitepaper has changed a bit with more information about A2A. There is a binance comparison in whitepaper on page 14 and a more dedicated comparison on page 16.
Yep, you are right

are there anyone have comparison between Binance & STeX?

there is one in the whitepaper. check the first post of this thread. there's a link to it there.

Thank you Jetx

There does seem to have been some recent changes to the whitepaper, so yes, the pages for the Binance comparisons to STeX EXCHANGE is indeed page 14 and 16. Page 16 is best since that's the "Direct comparison with Binance."

Thanks for the heads up.  Smiley

I discovered early (and invested in) STeX Exchange [STE] due to the features and their ability to scale, but the alpha release is not ready until Q1 2018.

For those not up to speed on this exchange, here is a quick intro:

The STeX EXCHANGE [STE] is bringing the full force/scope of traditional financial market instruments to crypto: Liquidity, Cross-rates, Futures, Leverage, Options, Investors and Managers, Out-of-the-box, all in one trading platform. Trade over 10,000 coin cross rates. 100% dividend distribution among STE token holders. With their 100% horizontal scaling system the STeX EXCHANGE can serve virtually ANY number of users.

Pros:
- Lowest possible bid/ask spreads in the industry
- Bid/ask size automatic calculation
- Stop/limit/conditional orders

🚀 STeX Exchange Alpha release is scheduled to March 27, 2018 14:00 GMT

i trust they'll get this delivered in time. Nick Prays has got it under control, i'm sure.

What was it really nick working with before he started stex exchange?

From WP:

From 2013 until present, Nick has been working on lead generation service in VK
social network
(Electron(NodeJS) + Python(Django) + MySQL). As well as
optimizing high load systems to work with databases having billions of entries in
social graphs.

Another fascinating fact is that one of the STeX advisers (amongst them; Serguei Popov, one of the founders of IOTA) is Gigi Janelidze. Janelidze is the Ex Art Director / Lead Designer for Yandex and Head and co-founder of the TOPOS Studio. He will advise on how to build STeX EXCHANGE tools and interfaces with a user-first approach, which is pretty cool. Excited about that.

Does that mean that the Yandex designer will to work closely with design team as part of the team itself? for example, they have a design team and then just send samples to Janelidze from time to time to see if he approves or not?

do we have more details on the public API? what exactly will it support in the first release?

What is meant by the API?

API stands for Application Programming Interface. look at it as a waiter in a restaurant taking your orders and brings back your order. for example a service like Coincube will use an API to link their trading bot to your exchange account on for example Bittrex or Binance. the Coincube trading bot will use an API access code to your exchange account which has only trading rights and no withdrawal rights, so that the Coincube trading bot can, for example, make sure that your trading account always have 30% BTC, 30% ETH, 20% IOTA and 20% ADA, if that is what you want to always have. that way you don't have to do the trading yourself. you just transfer BTC to your exchange account and then the trading bot will equal that amount to make sure you always have a certain percentage of each of the coins. and so an API would be used in a situation like that. that's just one thing that an API would be used for.

probably a bit of both but who knows. it's great to have Gigi Janelidz on board either way. i'm sure something great will come of it in the STeX EXCHANGE overall design.
