As far as i know,that there is no altcoin that in used in long term investment in local exchanges,unless you put it into the trading site,and if will followed always the volatility of the price value of your altcoins in the market.long term investment of altcoin  is never  been accept in our country local exchanges server,only a bitcoin they are accepted and our own fiat currency,but if your in other  country now,just try to ask in your community maybe theres a local exchange server that would accept altcoins to invest in long term process.

Go for siacoin as it is the Most realistic project I have ever seen when it comes to altcoin as it has to do with storage it will provide cloud storage at 10% approx coat than what the current players like Amazon and all hence siacoin will be the next big thing and it will be a smart choice to invest into it rather than regretting it later.

Since you are currently newbie, it's not prescribed for you to invest firstly in ongoing/post ICO since they are more likely to volatile which is risky for begginners. Thus, I advise you to invest in a huge volume coin such as Etherum, Waves, XRP, and others. Though it's quite less profitable since their price is more likely stable, it's still better than putting yourself vulnerable in a possible massive dump.

I got some RDD, DOGE, and LSK. These coins gave me almost 17x profit in a short time. You can consider purchasing the same since their prices are still considerably cheap. Or just check coinmarketcap or coinstats for the list of top coins/alts. Good luck!

I know Bitcoin in 2017. I play too in ICO and lose my money because the ICO is scam. I suggest to you if you want to invest your money with a long term investment you can do a little research in 100 altcoin on marketcap.

I yhink you choose ico is scam, but some of them are good ang worth it so its good to choose good onw the make research for you to understand.
