It is just normal, you can't expect a market to go bull running all the time. This happens in any market there is whether it is crypto, forex or stocks. New money get exhausted that can cause the market tk slow down. Take a break and prepare for the next burst.

Not only new money gets exhausted but it changes hands, those that invested at the top were probably new investors thinking this was going to last forever then some began to cash out, then these weak hands got scared and began to sell as well triggering more sell offs and losing money in the process, so we either need these people to learn their lesson and get more cash or new people interested in bitcoin.

Market moves like in snake speed when it is trending and otherwise, it used to move like a snail in sideways trend. the current stall is just a temporary pause and i am sure that we are going to see a big trending move soon and most probably it will be uptrend move because the long-term uptrend is still in action and it will not end once there is no strong formation of top forms over there in bitcoin price charts.

It would not hurt us for the price to remain like this for some time, I know people want the market to keep climbing and reach new record levels every month but think about it, I already run out of money to invest in bitcoin and altcoins, if the price were to remain like this for some time that will give me the chance to save some money and make more investments at these low prices then when the  price begins to move up one again I will make more profits than if the market did not stop.

I agree, January is very frustrating for all of us because of the stagnation of btc's price between the $10k to $11k mark. The previous month caused a lot of losses to us so let's hope that good news will welcome us this February. So for now, just  remain buying and holding bitcoins because that's the best option for now while its price is not yet recovering.

What we feel is not really relevant to the price, the important thing is the reality of bitcoin and when we look at it things have been rough for bitcoin recently, so it makes sense the price has gotten a hit, but the only thing we can do is to remain confident that the technology in which bitcoin is based is still the same so if bitcoin reached 20k before it will do so again especially since the devs are working in improving the technology even further.

I agree. Its really so frustrating at times to see your wallet and slowing draining because the market is currently stalling. We have been spoiled to see the price goes up, specially last December when it nearly went as high as $20K. Good times.

But 2018 is really a pain for all of us. We didn't expect anything like this, so the best thing is to wait for it to bounce back. This behavior though is just normal, everything is either up or down. The FUD mostly comes from newbies that bought in December and now think the world is ending because bitcoin stopped growing for a month, at the end of the day it was their fault by buying when the price was so high, I like bitcoin but I knew I was not going to buy at 20k knowing at the time that was the highest price it has ever reached, now buying at 9k feels fine since I know the potential to grow way higher than that is possible and it could happen in the near future.

Definitely it is a normal dip. People need to understand this fact. They must understand why the prices are up and down every other day. Bitcoins are not good these days but it doesn’t mean they are losing their values. They will be sighing but with the time. They are volatile and be changing every other day. So be optimistic.

Definitely yes, as you said the price varies, it goes up and down, probably it is just temporary. And soon after couple of weeks or months, the price of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will go up because it is very normal for a cryptocurrency to change its value and that's how the market flows.

Actually the bullish race experienced in the bitcoin market throughout 2017 was so accelerated and aggressive that it was expected a period of calm where things are adjusted and take an appropriate cause. In any market is imposible to see an asset with continuous growth over the years, and the same bitcoin indeed remained for two years before 2017 in a fairly stable price range, so you must be mentally prepared to tolerate this current situation even for several months or years.

9 month already crypto in bearish and bull market is not coming yet. Usually from the historycal price of crypto, bull market is should started but for this year look like bull market come late. Keep patient waiting for bull market while doing day trading is great to do now to recover loss and make some profit.
