They are team members not just investors.

Basically, SpaceChain has created an Android Operating System but for Space/Satellites. They are launching the first satellite in a few weeks. They also will have their own blockchain, data storage and dApps and you an access it with a lot of devices in the future anywhere in the world, without needing internet. With no way of ever taking it down by governments.

They would always just need a country thats pro crypto to launch the satellites. But that should be easy.

Two of the guys on their team are often on NBC... CNN.....and founded skype, hotmail, badu... One worked with Satoshi Nakamoto on bitcoin.... One member of their team created software/hardware for the International Space Station.

The reason I am asking, is maybe I am too blinded and I went in with quite a huge amount from huge profits when i bought raiblocks, verge, tron, waltonchain, neo cheap-.. So I actually think SpaceChain will blow up just like them........ Am i missing something? I mean all billionaires are into space like Musk, Bezos.... is this a good investment?

Are you talking about this project (http://spacechain.com/))

If you're talking about the first link, i think it's interesting and unlike most project, they don't push to make ICO/cryptocurrency just for project that don't require ICO/cryptocurrency. I just wonder how will they manage bandwitch and latency problem, especially with cryptocurrency which have short block time.
But, it's great to see Blockstream Satellite (https://blockstream.com/satellite/) have new competitor.

Yes Smiley Spacechain.com

Nice! The other one you mention is pretty amazing too!

I think the vision for SpaceChain is more to actually explore space, advance space technology thru the "Android OS" for space ... because like Nasa has blown away so much money on dead projects... And also private efforts (like by some of the famous billionaires) will need working solutions. I guess we will just need to wait for the whitepaper and the coming partnership announcements that are supposed to be coming really soon.

i dont know if it can go x50 or x100 but there probably is a high chance with the qtum founder, skype founder, badu founder in the team of spacechain. they know how to execute an idea, think out of the box and have a winning company. which is a big part for any success.

you still cannot know if its going to be a winner in this market. nobody believed in neo or eth in the begin and people called it a scam. i did buy some spacechain but not so many that it would hurt if it failed. i just hope it dont hurt too much later for not buying more.

I don't think so. You should have gone balls deep in Nexus instead! Cube sats, Quantum resistant, 3D blockchain, smart contracts + more...

is nexus your project? i couldnt even find any team members?
i heard of such projects before and they were usually either a
bit scammy or just a dream.

as for spacechain there is already videos of tim draper and jeff
talking about it / being in on it .... so spacechain is real and based
on a great team and need

https://twitter.com/space__chain

spacechain has been pretty much under wraps and secret, but their team of 50
has been working on it for a while, and spaceOS is ready already. i am excited we can
get in early. this is the ETH of space. the possibility is unlimited.

first satellites launch this year already, they already have the permissions.

its still only valued at around $150m and will go to a few billions easily.

people will cry when they see the price at $10 a coin in a few weeks...
and say "oh nooo! i should have taken the 2 minutes to sign up to the
two exchanges and get it for $0.40..."
and still buy.... because its still cheap at $10.... just like eth last year..

tim draper of spacechain also is close with elon musk and they also
have a members/supplier of international space station in their team
who did software and hardware for the ISS. it does not get more real
than this?

if you know any other coins with such high potential currently please
let me know as fast as possible i will love to check it out

So- I tried really hard to look into this because your post history makes it sound like you REALLY know what your talking about, but was really discouraged by the (lack) of information here:

1. Their website is down and has been for some time.  Cached copied of their website claim big investors but do not link to anything to substantiate it.
2. Their website has grammatical errors and poor spelling in places (cached version).
3. The last time the founder posted on Reddit was an AMA 3 months ago- since then nothing from his account or any of his teams there.
4. The cached version of their website indicates a WeChat page- but there are several and no English Versions (and translator does not do a very good job).
5. No links to GitHub anywhere.

So what I am left with is a few 3 month old postings, no verification that these people are actually on the team, no team communication, no indication of active development, and its primary exchange is 'EXX' which, when I search, first comes up with porn sites.  Can you show me the resources you are looking at or how your verifying?

Thank you!

The project is really interesting. I checked the coin on CoinMarketCap and it's $0.37 with 1.000.000.000 coin supply. I'd say the price it a little high, but it didn't increase much in price. It has good chances to moon a little.

1. the website is up at http://spacechain.com/ and has always been for me. there was a fraudulent website maybe you were on that one?

3. the last info from the spacechain founder is from just a few hours ago. he spoke at tim drapers space conference/summit. also jeff garzik spoke on it. the videos are linked here: https://twitter.com/Space__Chain

5. github i dont think it exists yet. but the spacechain spaceOS is open source i think so it will be there sooner or later... there was mentioned about 50 people have worked on it in the past months and its ready to launch the first satellite which should happen quite soon.

there is also some info on the qtum reddit about spacechain. but the best read so far is probably to check out the twitter , because there they have been posting all news so far.

the founder of spacechain is pretty young. in his 20s. but he did launch a successful educational platform in china that he got from 0 to 10 million/year in sales. and then he sold it. i dont know for how much but surely a very nice amount. he then faced the question "what to do with my life", got mentored by tim draper himself, and found his calling: helping space exploration and space travel move forward. thats why its also a nonprofit foundation just like ETH is. so i think this could become really huge. the only risk i see is jeff garzik ruins it.

Found some news about it that was published late last year: https://www.techinasia.com/spacechain-blockstream-blockchain-to-satellite

Did this project have a fund raiser of any kind?

The CEO of SpaceChain is already a millionaire. He is only in his 20s but started an educational company in china that he got from 0 to 10 Million/year, then he sold it for surely a multiple of that. Now he was looking for what to do with his life and all his money...  Then he got mentored by Tim Draper and found his true calling: Bring space exploration forward. Explore the universe. Find out what dark matter is. He, Tim Draper, Jeff Garzik, and a guy who created software and hardware that is being used on the International Space Station funded it, as well as some others.

It is a nonprofit Foundation just like Ethereum is.

They just updated their website and released a whitepaper. I am not a whitepaper expert so I hope some people can give some insight. I usually invest based on the team and execution. Because many have good ideas, few people can execute them well.

The new website looks amazing... http://www.spacechain.com/

2 huge red flags

tim draper - hear that name everywhere lately so means nothing

allcoin seems to have had an ownership change, but everyone who had funds in the old was told to contact them with an email, so i am not sure its scam. now everyone screams scam way too easy. i saw hitbtc has 99% bad reviews but its mostly from people putting low transactions fee, or from some delays, but never actually from hitbtc stealing anything....... and when people get their funds they never change the "scam!" reviews..... its a bit frustrating for exchanges i am sure.

i dont know anything about qtum allegations..

as for spacechain and tim draper... well..... tim draper founded hotmail, skype and so much more .he is well respected everywhere....

the risk factor i see more in jeff garzik as he is not very focused it seems in general...

but he is only technical chief so maybe the 40 devs still work together nice Smiley

the ceo of spacechain is in his 20s and already had a very successful company in education. seems trustworthy to me.

biggest challenge is how big spacechain can get. such projects often fail because of low interest, low funds (because everything can be very expensive in space) but i do think spacechain got some nice solutions for it, like cheap satellites, and of course tim draper, plus a good mission and cause.

ALLCOIN = scam 100%

I know this personally giving people the run around saying they have no record of their accounts and shit when the people have the full email proof they had accounts there.

qtum ie stephen dai was found to be a part of the scammers that raped the bitbay ico.  The full investigation was laid bare by gleb and david zimbeck spoke out about it too. He was not a prime scammer but still took BTC and contributed nothing to the project even when invited to do so. He is only not a prime scammer like the rest since he returned his bitbay to the real dev but kept the btc. If you want the full investigation you can find it on the start of the qtum thread unless they removed it.

those 2 are red flags but do not essentially say this entire project is a scam... but those 2 things... especially having to stoop to a shit hole like allcoin are bad news

especially having to stoop to a shit hole like allcoin are bad news

there is also exx and they said more exchanges are in the works but it takes time currently as exchanges get flooded with new coins

my experience with allcoin is fine, and with exx too. i would just always suggest to not have too many funds in just one exchange

edit: just did a quick withdraw it was instantly in my btc address... with correct fee so will confirm fast .. actually overpaid fee......

i think the biggest risk nowadays with exchanges is really technical issues and hackers because exchanges print so much free money from the fees theres no need to run away.
