I've been working a lot of the TomPool interface recently, getting close to how I want it to look. In the meantime I've also added a couple of Keccak coins, note these are SHA3 based so you'll need to make sure you're using the correct software:

Helixcoin (HXC)
Maxcoin (MAX)

Hello.
While mining NET coin in cgminer I saw that worker found a block. The time was around 13/03 07:45 server time. But there is no NET coin block at that time in statistic.
Is it a bug?
PS At 13/03 08:08 server time found block too but nothing in stats.

Aha! Bingo! Thanks uzgen, I took a look and found some block submission errors in the stratum logs, realised I didn't have transaction messaging on NET so some found blocks weren't making it through to the wallet. Fixed now Smiley

I've taken the NET pool down for now while I look into it further, seems to be something up with the wallet syncing to the network.

A small announcement, I've created a Keccak multipool with HXC and MAX, tested and working! Seems to be quite effective as the two coins move around in difficulty quite a bit but usually there's a solid couple of hours mining between switches. Would be great to have some more hashing towards the Keccak multipool to take the MAX block time down.

Noob question.  Mining in toms multipool will earn you different coins, I understand this.  I have a bitcoin wallet set up. easy so far! question is do i need different wallets set up for different coins, or all payouts made to my one bitcoin wallet in bitcoins? Im a little hazy on this and cant seem to find an answer on line.  Any help is appreciated.

If you're using TomCoin you'll be mining alt coins but the payouts are in BTC, if you're mining standard TomPool the payouts are in whatever currency you've been mining. Typically users setup an account with an exchange such as Cryptsy or CoinEx where you can generate an address for each coin without needing a wallet, then just send your mined coins to this address and exchange them, hold them, whatever you want to do.

Yep if you see your BTC address listed with a hashrate then everything is all good, payouts are updated around 15:30 PST each day.

I haven't been able to connect to usa.tompool.org for over 30 minutes:

Code:
Pinging usa.tompool.org [72.46.152.250] with 32 bytes of data:
Request timed out.
Request timed out.

Request timed out.

I'm using the Australia pool now, but the high latency is causing too many rejected shares.

Now I finally realized why my TomCoin profits are less than when mining bitcoin: you are not mining bitcoin at all! Bitcoin seems to be most of the time the most profitable SHA-256 coin. Can you please add that to TomCoin and mine the alts only when they are more profitable than bitcoin. Thx!

I'd like to try the keccak multipool, is tomcoin support for this algo in the works?
Also could you please add 365coin?
Thank you!

I'd like to and I'm trying to come up with a solution but haven't gotten far on it yet, the main problem is the pool doesn't have anywhere near enough hashing power to find a BTC block. It'd be months between blocks, I'm trying to see if I can somehow redirect to a BTC pool when its more profitable.

I've been looking at 365 coin but haven't found any exchanges yet, where is it listed? The exchange needs to have an API so I can get the latest trade data.

Looks like the CoinEx wallets were hacked so all funds are gone, for what its worth I know exactly what they're going through, it isn't a great feeling logging in and seeing everything gone!

You are right, there is no good exchange for 365, but let's keep an eye on it ;-)
What about tomcoin for keccak? I'm ready to give my sha3 hashes but I have no way to auto-exchange helix or possibly other coins you might add in the future.

At this stage with only two coins in the Keccak multipool I won't be adding a Keccak TomCoin just yet. I'd like the coins to all be available on major exchanges before making the move as TomCoin makes use of the Cryptsy API for trading, at the moment only MAX is on Cryptsy.
