Not the BTC specially.
But the crypto currencies and block chian as a whole does threaten banks in direct way since they can overtake the payment sector but banks still have loan industry.

There is no question of any threat for banks! Firstly it is convenient to store them! Secondly, the security of translation, do not be afraid of attacks on cash collectors! Thirdly, the security of storage and security from the bank robbery because the keys can be stored completely elsewhere!
So it's more convenient for banks to fool with bitcoin !!!

Maybe so or maybe not. Often than none banks see cryptocurrencies as a threat to them because bitcoin does more than the banks. There's no barrier to your fund when you need to make use of it. Crptocurrencies is really striving and very sure it makes a lot of sense. Bitcoin has no country restriction and no tax.

Just as the digital era, the photographic industry witnessed the bankruptcy of Kodak, the rise of online music, the disc has also been quickly eliminated, after the advent of bitcoin, the financial industry may also need to carry out major rectification. Will the bank disappear?

Personally, I think the cryptocurrency will replace the banks in the future or the banks will find its own way to be part of the cryptocurrency. With its growing market, cryptocurrency will surely be more common in many societies and popular to many industries. Many establishments and products are are now accessible and open for crypto payment so I think bitcoin will be used more.

In theory, digital assets and their technology is much more advanced than banking systems. They are generally established for this purpose. Therefore, banks are afraid of cryptocurrencies.

As time passed by, new innovations are being made to improve our way of living. I think we are now in that age when we transition towards cryptocurrency. I think banks and bitcoin will either compete against each other or work together to support the financial industry of the society. But even now, it is hard to say when would this will be decided. Bitcoin is gaining popularity so I think there will be some minor competition soon.

Banks are actively waging a cold war against cryptocurrencies. Bankers do not admit it, but digital technologies are the beginning of the era of the banking system decline. It is a fact.

If the elimination of the banking industry will be the price for the progress of bitcoin and the whole cryptocurrencies, then I will like to live with that. Cryptocurrency aims to help the people in the transactions and save more money. And if there's way to minimize the competition between them, may be it could work. Banks are important to the society, and bitcoin can be valuable too especially because of online transactions. Together, they can change the society to move forward.

It does pose a threat to banks because most of the people nowadays are aware of bitcoin and how it works, and these people prefer the bitcoin system instead of banks, because of that, banks wil lose some of its potential investors to their company

I do not think that anything will change in the banking system in the next 5 years. I do not think that bitcoin during this time will have time to destroy the banks. People like carrying money there, and will carry.

Yes, but it is just a little threat. Although bitcoin is the new currency of our era, there are still people that want the old thing in their life like holding their miney on their bank, some people are still not convince to bitcoin so they are still in banks.

Bitcoin, and for that matter crypto, has posed a great threat to banks nowadays as many people withdraw their monies and save in bitcoin. People are now trusting and believing what bitcoin can do. By the time most of the people will adopt bitcoin, most banks will collapse leaving the central banks which stand a chance to also collapse.

Maybe Bitcoin impose a threat against banks but not directly since it is not really the intention why Bitcoin was established because it is just intended to lauch an innovated version of the regular currency we already have. But I guess Bitcoin will not play to be a total threat to banks because there are still instances that Bitcoin can do afford to provide same as the banks. It is just about the purpose and the usage to be the dependent variable in this issue. So I think even Bitcoin was very fast rising, banks will not disappear since banks and Bitcoin is a different thing from each other in which they do have their own purposes.

crypto currency will affect bank earnings and profit of course but to make bank fades i think its impossible to happen.tjat is why most banking companies are trying to adopt and study block chain platform to be competitive in crypto currency

BTC users are free to transfer money and do not need the bank's participation so that the bank's service fee is avoided!

If more people use BTC, the bank's profit will be reduced!

Threaten the bank's survival!

To my opinion is not a threat if that happens so it means there will be adjustments to the needs of technological developments and the era and demands all also change along with the development of technology in other words do not eliminate but adjust to what is needed in the development of the era and technology.

Banks do think that Bitcoin could pose a major threat to the Bank. As more and more Bitcoin recognizes the people who prefer to use Bitcoin instead of using the Bank. But even then I am sure that the bank will not disappear and stay on. It's just that banks will become the second after this digital currency.

maybe in some measure, but if the banks cleverly arrive, then it will on the contrary raise them even better upward to stability

I think it's hard, at least for government-backed banks it is a threat to banks that's why they are thinking of ways to make people think that investing in bitcoin no matter what type of transfer people prefer and the bank was triggered by the crypto because the money will not roll to them

Well, I'll say that the fact that all the bank CEOs are doing their best to burst the so called bitcoin bubble shows that it is indeed a big threat to the banks. If I were a bank CEO, I'd rather find a way to integrate bitcoin and blockchain into my business than try to deny it.
