okay first off I got the 3 old style blades yesterday fast shipping from the canary I looked at the packages all new all sealed. I am thinking I don't want them. I like the sticks better.
The old style were 10-13gh cost 5btc
the new are 10gh locked cost 4btc.
I am thinking of ordering more sticks at .18btc each. But I would like to use a new blade if it was plug n play like the sticks. So far no info on the new blades.
I use bitminter and java the old blades will not let me do this. So before I order new blades or more sticks I need to know the story as to how the new blades run.

The new blades have a USB connections but you will have to ask the good Dr. if his client supports them yet.

How do you setup a PSU to power a hub instead of the AC adapter?

Thanks philipma1957 for your input. Others have been maxing out these hubs with out a problem and a person can just solder the power wires direct to the hubs to help lower the cost instead of buying the barrel plugs. The PSU can be had cheaper but I bought this one due to the internal fan that it came with. I have 13 more USB miners coming next week and will see what happens. I may very well stop at 60 on this PSU as you suggested.

Thank you guys for explaining. This should be a sticky somewhere - I'm sure other people are wondering how to do this as well.

Kind of wondering how your running so many at a time... what kind of set up do you have? I do not mine at all. If im mining its because someone sent a unit back to me for replacement. Its 99.9% user error aka underpowered hubs so far
