To get news updates about crypto currencies i usually follow CoinDesk and CoinTelegraph. You can also try crypto-news.net. They all are decent sites. Though I also use the forums and reddit to get more information and verify the news. Just be careful when using other sources to gain information as they might mislead you.

Reading different topics here makes me understand everything I already know about crypto. For me it is not important to study everything. Just focus on what you really want. Like me, I am not used to mine or invest. I only join campaigns, earn token and trade it. Browsing page about the project I am joining is just additional.

Forums. I often read forums here and search and read information that will help me to earn big enough here and to have an idea what to do with your bitcoins. You just have to be patient to find articles or forums that is reliable I also ask my friend who is into bitcoin for a long period of time.
