it actually came from few factors like most people that bought sold there coins for profit. they dont want to risk for long term and wait for higher values most of the usually are newbies to cryptoworld

This is partly due to the fact that most of the coins traded on exchanges are traded in either btc or ether. So, what happens is that, anytime there is a fall in btc and ether price, it affects the price of other altcoins traded in it, thereby causing a decline in price of most coins as observed recently in the markets.  |

if you talk the price of altcoins in usd terms i think you are right,, because in Eth or btc terms sometimes when both coins are down,, few of altcoins will be growing |

Every altcoin and token is related to bitcoin or etherum so if they are going low every altcoin is going down. Beside of that the crisis of the crypto is being for much longer than anyone expected.

The huge pump happened in BTC only. Altcoins are still stuck to bottom. No coin was able to copy BTC pace. This is because the ETF launch is expected in August which has resulted in the outflow of money from altcoins to BTC. You must have seen the increased dominance of BTC which is nearing 50%. This volume is expected to increase till next month mid when the ETF is expected to be launched. After that the market condition will be dependent upon SEC decision for the ETF. If there is an approval, be ready to see altcoins growing along with BTC. If a disapproval takes place, BTC will fall sharply resulting in a few percentage downfall in altcoins as well. |

Since all cryptocurrencies are linked to Bitcoin, most of the other cryptocurrencies fall following Bitcoin as the price of Bitcoin declines, which of course is a big drop. As for why it's a good time to invest in cryptocurrencies, you can get more coins at a lower cost because all currencies are falling.
yeah because many people likes bitcoin than other crypto thats why someof them are shuttig down or getting decreased because some vcoins are not successful in the market economy Since bitcoin prices have so far not stabilized so now most of the coins are declining because of the Bitcoin action and so now the price of Bitcoin has not come back and many people are investing in Bitcoin in the short term because soon the Bitcoin price will be back and crypto market also recovered |

if you talk the price of altcoins in usd terms i think you are right,, because in Eth or btc terms sometimes when both coins are down,, few of altcoins will be growing Even ethereum price still pegged in bitcoin terms, when bitcoin gets a slight increase and ethereum was following it with a slight decline too. Ethereum has a domination for all of the ethereum assets but it doesn't give any impact for those coins which have built on their own platform. |

Regardless of what coin it is, I think the main reason why price changes is because of the supply and demand. Also, there is no written rule about the pricing but when bitcoin falls, other coins will follow. This doesn't happen on all of the coin but it happens on the majority of it. I also want to mention about the bots on the exchange, they will do everything to make the price smaller. Sending multiple orders just to ruin the coin price. Anyone notice those bots?

In my opinion, the current market devaluation (except for Bitcoin), is due to realization of an actual lack of current value. You keep hearing that institutional investors are going to come into the space, but it never happens. Why? Because the value proposition isn't there for most altcoins and bitcoin is to much of a wild card for any sensible investor to invest in.

This is normal with the current market condition. Mainly the price of BTC is going down. Lots of investors are looking at the price of BTC to invest or sell. If it goes down then all the other Alt will start to go down.
agree it's normal. the market price is still red and still unstable as the original. So today is also suitable for you who want to invest because the price is still cheap. I think this is an opportunity for you to buy it. But my advice to do research in advance if you want to invest because of late a lot of fraud. |

Well it is too exaggerated the word day by day because it was not for real that every day the value of the coins is going down and maybe the best reason why this happens is there is a lot of coin that maybe greater than the other that is why other people invest on it or buy it and it affect the others value because their target investors goes minimal and because of the the value of it goes down. |
