Finally !! Thanks to facebook!! Grin Grin

Finally! It's a great move from facebook that they kick junk ico and most are scam. This should be done before but anyway there are negative side for this especially facebook campaign. I feel sorry for the newbies but don't worry we can  make our post great for merit.

This banning is good thing. Sometimes those ads are annoying. For me most ads are annoying actually not only crypto  Smiley But there are also a lot of scams and people who know nothing about it might get scammed.

This is really bad news for bounty hunters like me. No more Facebook campaigns. If it's the case I'm good with signature, Twitter and reddit. But the newbies will the much affected.

Great news. Most of them that do ads on Facebook are scams anyway.
I also think so. Verified cryptocurrencies don't require advertising or they can post it in specialist forums.

In my opinion, We are not promoting our own crypto currency ads and just doing like and share of ICO companies posts. When facebook is not blocking them how any share of a running page can be banned.

Facebook Gives Crypto Ads the Thumbs Down.

Facebook has issued an outright ban. As of a new ruling issued on January 30, “ads must not promote financial products and services that are frequently associated with misleading or deceptive promotional practices, such as binary options, initial coin offerings, or cryptocurrency”. The move is sure to be welcomed by Facebook users and bitcoin enthusiasts alike, who recognize that these adverts do little to promote the benefits of cryptocurrency.

https://web.facebook.com/policies/ads/prohibited_content/prohibited_financial_products_and_services

although it maybe disappointing for projects that will be promoting in social media especially facebook but if Facebook has set the rules it may have to obey and switch in other social media for promotion, because the internet has the widest range and can be for promotions anywhere.

This is quite unfortunate, cause there is a lot of posts in regards to cryptocurrency since Facebook is now acting as some field of marketing/advertising etcetera.
That's not right to just shut down the posts about the coins and left others, for instance, I can't get what is better in advertising the cars comparing to the sharing info about ICO?

Don't get me wrong, that's just my point.

Seems like Facebook wanted to buy some cheap bitcoins. Cheesy Twitter is also blocking ads which advertise cryptos with "gambling" reasons.

Facebook are also looking for  a blockchain that they can team up with, i hope Facebook will not promote it as well in case they come up with a blockchain technology partners. Anyway it is their revenue lost not ours.

That's weird, Facebook keeps prompting me to promote my project page.  But I guess YouStock by itself is not a cryptocurrency.

They focused on ICO ads.
This is really interesting ban from facebook. Now if ICO owners cannot insert ads to facebook than they will start to increase bounty rewards for facebook.
lets see.

As far as I know, The facebook plan of doing is to remove the facebook adds of ICOs. So, facebook bounties are not affected here because adds will only be removed and not facebook pages. So we have nothing to worry about ..

You maybe understood the article wrong bro, still ICOs can be promoted on facebook through facebook campaigns because facebook not banned the ICO ads.The just banned the paid promotion of facebook for ICO ads.So it is actually great news for the social media campaign participants because now they can earn more money because ICOs are only promoted through campaigns anymore.

Now it will be more difficult for some companies to promote their ICO's, as the social outreach would be thwarted. Nevertheless, we saw this one coming - it was a matter of time, therefore, I cannot say that I'm surprised. This is why threads like this exist. However, may I ask for a slight favor:
I'm currently considering investing in one of these two:
AgroTechFarm (ATF)
MedicalChain
May you provide me with more information?

Well this is fine for me. most advertisements of ICOs in facebook are just scams anyway but it will not hit cryptocurrency price to fall down because it is just advertisements that are being banned on their platform. people can still advertise or promote ICOs by posting it on their status or groups. so dont worry about social media bounty campaigns to end.

This news does not yet apply to bounty hunters. It's about paid advertising, targeting and so on.  Roughly speaking, now the FB will filter this topic. On the one hand, a bold step, on the other hand can not be so bad. I hope they do not start blocking bounty campaign participants, you can not keep track of everyone, but ICO traffic will lose a lot.

This is why bitcoin price are starting to go down because of the banning of ads in facebook. Facebook was a big help on advertising so many ICO's on cryptocurrencies because of that many people is aware of the project that is advertise on the fb most of the people are staying in the social media in many hours this is a big loss for ICO's
