Mark Zuckerberg has the authority over facebook.
He is a business man so to protect other business man from SCAM promoting through Facebook he needs to do that.
He cares for Facebook dignity as the founder of fb.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

This is very good. People cannot just use a whitepage to collect money. A good project at least should have their products (alpha product) to do their advertisement. Facebook is helping this new market to grow health and live longer. Be cool! guys.

Yes, I saw this news yesterday, and I saw that all cryptocurrencies have dropped.
I think this should be a big hit for bitcoin and alt.
After all, people who know crypto now are relatively few and facebook is an important channel that can promote crypto.

Maybe this one referring to paid ads? I don't mind promoting under my own account , they can unfriend me anyway. I guess it's fine to post something in your wall with selected friends, paid ad will be problem though.

I saw this news today also. The ban may not last forever though, those advertisements make FB money and thats the name of the game. They will probably have a more stricter guideline as to who can advertise.

Great news. Most of them that do ads on Facebook are scams anyway.
I also think so. Verified cryptocurrencies don't require advertising or they can post it in specialist forums.

Wow i think you guys has a point. At first I thought what facebook did was a negative thing to the crypto community but maybe this is for the best. Lot of scams here and there.

Yesterday posted news about Facebook, but today there is still advertising crypto projects in Facebook. I think now the bounty hunters should ask for an increase in payment for posts on Facebook, since there is a high probability of getting a ban.

Well I hope it's not a bad news because why facebook ban cryptocurrency ads? If they have a big income there right? What you think guys?

Facebook Gives Crypto Ads the Thumbs Down.

Facebook has issued an outright ban. As of a new ruling issued on January 30, “ads must not promote financial products and services that are frequently associated with misleading or deceptive promotional practices, such as binary options, initial coin offerings, or cryptocurrency”. The move is sure to be welcomed by Facebook users and bitcoin enthusiasts alike, who recognize that these adverts do little to promote the benefits of cryptocurrency.

wel this should be done by facebook long time ago,so the numbers of victims by scammers and hackers maybe smaller than today, but some part are sadness for more users as they are being paid from joining facebook campaigns.though i think there will be an alternative for for this one..hope this will lessen the misleading thats happening over th community that causes to the losses of some funds

This will be bad news once implemented. We learn ICOs primarily from Facebook. There's so much crypto related pages and Facebook messenger groups with trading and ICO discussions which are really informative. Its also the source of earning for most crypto holders to post ads about their cryptocurrency investments.

This is a bad news for bounty hunters who join fb campaign and also to the entire ICO's, Promoting on fb is very a big help when you start your company, i hope twitter will not do the same thing.

This is bad news, and I do not understand why facebook is forbidden,Fb is one of the key channels driving crypto-currency. It has so many users, but I do not think this ban lasts too long because cryptocurrency is good for fb Possibly.

Facebook ban those crytocurrency ads because it somehow violate cyber law or was considered as scam or untrusted ads.

I would like to know how effective the FB crypto ads were to begin with? I definitely didn't get into crypt because of them. haha it wasn't until a good friend that I trusted told me about investing in crypto that I decided to do it.

IMO, it will not impact much in crypto space. crypto enthusiasts usually use Bitcoin talk or other forums to get more understanding for crypto.

I think to prevent unwanted things like banned accounts. I recommend to share 3 post only per campaign in a week or you can join bounty campaign in bountyhive.io, at this site, you need 2 times post only in a week.
