(Is there a way for me to see mining info in my wallet like you get when you mine with a pool or 'normal' miner software)

Yep.  In the console do  "getmininginfo" which will show all mining stats.   "getdifficulty" will show you just current difficulty.

Thank you  Cheesy also I take it you get paid right away once the block has been confirmed?

Attention All: If you noticed that the blockchain has slowed way down... here's what I think happened.  Somebody came along with server grade equipment, mined to fast, jacked up the difficulty, then abruptly stopped mining leaving us all with normal computer at a 100.0 difficulty.  Could be wrong, can't really say who or what caused the difficulty spike.  Was it malicious?  don't know...

I'm looking into changing the difficulty retarget interval so that we won't get stuck like this in the future.  I'll post here with any news about that.

Yep, we're stuck trying to solve 11790!

I guess this is one of the risks of just having CPU mining is that someone with a lot of power comes along and smashes it for a while. It's great it you have a solution though Smiley

I like the idea of keeping this away from ASIC's and letting home users mine for fun. Good luck Dev!

Yep, when you mine a block, the coins show up immediately.  They mature after 10 blocks mined throughout the network (10 is considerably lower than Bitcoin, which has 100 block maturity)

Mandatory Update: ROBO v0.15.2

Download New Wallets ASAP

Since launching, difficulty spiked to 100.0 which resulted in the chain moving very very slowly.  This update should allow us to break free from such occurrences in the future.

What Will Change? The PoW difficulty code was rewritten so that it updates every four blocks instead of 1440 blocks.  It also adds a safeguard that attempts to lower difficulty when block times exceed 2-5 minutes.  If enough time passes (about an hour), difficulty will reset to around 0.05.  When a reset happens, a burst of coins should be mined network-wide, and difficulty should settle back to the 2 minute specification.

WARNING:The new system will go into effect on February 4th, 2018 at 9:20PM UTC.  If you do not update to 0.15.2 before this point, any newly mined coins will be rejected and other nodes will start banning you as a result.  If you want to continue mining, you absolutely must update to 0.15.2 before the date/time above.   This is especially crucial to those running full nodes... if full nodes don't update, they will reject and ban clients running the new version.  Your best bet is to just download before the time above and restart your nodes!

How do I know this will actually work?  Well... I've only tested in my local/private network on "testnet".  So far it's been working fine across a handful of MacBooks.  I can't say exactly what will happen tomorrow, but when the new PoW strategy goes into effect, I'm guessing that tons of coins are going to be mined making up for how behind we are now.  And if all works like it does in my local net, we'll be back to rolling with 2minute block times shortly thereafter!

So no pool available than only CPU mining for now.   Roll Eyes

CPU mining forever if at all possible.  I've made some changes which will retarget difficulty every 4 blocks instead of every 1440 blocks.  And also have added some safe gaurds so when difficulty spikes, it'll reset itself ever so often.
Is it first SHA256 algorithm asic resistant?

Just a second, I'm uploading a new batch of binaries.  Had a typo where the windows version was displaying the old version number.  Re-compiling, and re-upoading...  I'll post back once it's done and checked.

ATTN: Windows Users : if you downloaded 0.15.2 and it still showed 0.15.1, please re-download... I've fixed the problem.  It was a typo where the old version number was still showing.  Sorry for the confusion!

This won't work if it needs RPC getblocktemplate and submitblock.   If not, then more power to you.

Welp, have at it then!  how can you pay 10 coins per 10 minutes if the block time spec is 2 minutes?  shouldn't it be more like 5 coins per 10 minutes?
