I don't think that ethereum will reach bitcoin price this year. Although Ethereum is showing a good progress now, it still can't equal bitcoin.
I mean, it's still hard for ethereum to take over bitcoin. It needs a long time to equal bitcoin price. Ethereum is still away to go as high as bitcoin. But one day ethereum will be number one because from a technological perspective, it is far more superior.

Ethereum is amazing! But I still wanna know how far will it go till the end of this year. As I can see right now, Eth is really tough, the kind of altcoin that cannot be drag down. if my guess is right, it will reach its height by mid if 2018.

i think also that the ethereum will not exceed the bitcoin price or maybe will be the same as the bitcoin but it will became popular and it will raise it price when the demand on the ethereum goes high

I believe ETH like the BTC, is a strong and solid platform. However, due to the recent turn of events there seems to be a challenge for this platform to truly soar to its potential. Since it carries a lot of ERC20 compliant tokens, I believe if straightened out this platform could deliver and be once again a powerful crypto next to the Bitcoin.

During the recent dip, ETH price even a little come up, all altcoins and BTC holders lose funds but ETH holders still have profit. So i think that ETH will reach BTC price this year. What do you think guys?
ETH have a good start this year and it seems to keep on growing but I do not agree that it will reach the price of bitcoin yet. It still have lots of problem and ICO is not enough to push it that high. And I think ETH will have a good competition this year as NEM and WAVES platform users grow. |

Don't think it will reach bitcoin price, but it can certainly reach it's market cap. Right now bitcoin's market cap is ~150 bil and ethereum's is ~100 bil. Another dip in bitcoin's price and a rise in ETH can make it happen.

My opinion about eth is or ethereum is it would be possible to surpassed or have the almost the same value as bitcoin , but despite of the btc price , the eth price as of now is increasing and bitcoin is decreasing. But honestly I doubt the eth will reach btc price this year ? , it's a bluff to be honest but we can't say though , many of ICO competing others , like waves and trx. |

I think it's obvious and you did not reveal any secrets. In the long term, the ETH surpasses bitcoin 100%. And I agree that this may happen already this year. |

I dont think ETH will reach bitcoin price, in my opinion bitcoin is just too mainstream to get dethroned for the most expensive cryptocurrency category. One thing i believe on though, is that in 2018 Ethereum will rise more percentage wise than bitcoin, so that being said, in my opinion you will make more money if you have your money on ethereum than if you have your money on bitcoin.

ETHEREUM is technologically more perspective than bitcoin. Also has the low cost of transactions. I think that in 2018 ETHEREUM will strengthen the positions in the market of cryptocurrencies, and in 2019 will be able to compete with bitcoin.

I can agree with you that ETH currently have bigger usage than Bitcoin, but Bitcoin will be always the King. And don't forget the new player on smart contracts market - NEO. It can disrupt the ETH hegemony there. |

Eth is around $700 atm so it definitely isn't making anyone money. It may be losing us less, yes, but certainly not making it. I do agree though that it is ICO fuel and therefore will continue to hold a strong value. It may just dip below $500 soon, so I would be aware of that before investing.... |

last week eth might be strong and being consistent among top alts but right now it has been dragged way to the bottom because of bitcoin's dip in this day. I hope this crash and correction stops so we can move on with our lives and start the normal trading sessions  |

Ethereum is a good investment in this year it has a lot of function, as you can see theres a lot of token under the ethereum blockchain thats what you called the erc20 unlike other coin ethereum has many uses and continue to grow globally and become in demand in this year but bitcoin stay the king i hope bitcoin has an upgrade version of it.
