Its so hard to predict because both plays a vital role to the market of crypto currencies but I can safely say that bitcoin is better as a payment instrument and ethereum as a medium to launch initial coin offerings because of its flexibility advantage. While Bitcoin is experiencing a bearish trend as of this moment, it is still the King of Crypto currency as many investors and HODLers have still faith on the said platform.

Ether will not reach such a price, because its coins are much larger than that of bitcoin, but it can cost 15-20% of the bitcoin price when the capitalization is the same as that of the bitcoin.

In my opinion , ETH is now more hot than BTC because the explosion of ICOs base on ETH Blockchain. During the recent dip, ETH price even a little come up, all altcoins and BTC holders lose funds but ETH holders still have profit. So i think that ETH will reach BTC price this year. What do you think guys?
I truly believe on ethereum potential because the value is now growing, eth coins managed to reach 1k dollar before the end of 2017 and it was a good sign because it might even increase further before december of 2018 so just keep on holding as long as you still can. |

I would like to believe that ethereum will overtake bitcoin. But in my opinion this will not happen this year. Bitcoin has too strong a position.

Well, while it's no doubt that ETH is the best coin, and many ICOs are holding it tied since they received (a lot) from their investors. That means if the market dips to a certain limit (maybe when BTC hits 5k), all ICOs will be scared of losing their investment fund, so they will start selling their ETHs and convert to Fiat (to ensure that they can survive and maintain their development team)... and that would be a bad day for ETH.

my opinion about ethereum is, a coin that can beat bitcoin and in the future ethereum will be the king of all coin in crypto, and will make the investor from ethereum get big profit, hence from that have not invested in ethereum i suggest investment now before you regret it.

i think that ETH price can not surpass or even equal to Bitcoin price cause in this world the most popular cryptocurrency is Bitcoin so the demand for it's always high. but i think that you're not wrong about the price going up, yeah it can up but can not surpass bitcoin maybe it can be half of the bitcoin price in this end year of 2018 |

Eth is a long term investment. It is good chance to Eth to catch up because Bitcoin price is falling due to some inside and outside reasons. But the btc cannot change the eth. It is much more valuable. |

Ether is the best Altr coin to invest now.Lots of ICO's are coming based on ethereum blockchain . this will cause Etherereum to be evaluated too much.
As per my opinion Ethereum is very strong altcoin and it is leader of all alt coins and it have potential to rise like bitcoin and it can already proves that with his last year performance. Investing in Eth now would definitely be a good choice.

Ethereum is good, the use of Ethereum blockchain by ICO's is also a great boost for Ethereum but as per the price, Bitcoin still remains the first and the price still have huge potentials.

I thing Ethereum will grow in importance a little more time, but at some point other ICO-friendly platforms will kick in, like Neo, Stratis, Stellar, Byteball, and one of them or more will possibly become bigger of Ethereum. So I guess it is unlikely that Ethereum becomes bigger than Bitcoin, unless it is Bitcoin to become more little than Ethereum (and Neo, Stellar, Stratis etc)

Hi, I`m quite agree that ETH will reach BTC price this year.Bitcoin also does not have smart contract capability, which is what gave Ethereum many more use cases beyond transactional value. I would like to attract your attention that Ethereum’s core development team is much more active and responsive than the Bitcoin team. |
