It is top of my 'to have list'.
Almost all my coins are ethereum based, and I have not had much need for BTC.
With it's capacity to grow it could one day eclipse all others.

ETH in this year does have a lot of improvements. This is an excellent advancement for ETH that will drive ETH faster to have valuable value. With the explosion of ICO-based Blockchain ETH, it makes the ETH community grow larger. It makes the security of ETH more awake and reliable in maintaining the investment assets in it. And will make ETH more consistent again in developing its value.

I don't think it will reach the price of bitcoin because bitcoin will still recover and will make a new price high. I believe that BTC is still king as there are more investors and money involved in its activity. BTC is more known and it is still a benchmark regarding to sentiments and trends for cryptomarket participants.

Me too, we are also seeing more pairing of altcoins with ETH on exchanges, which gives ETH more value. I am very bullish for ETH as its use grows

Since the total supply of Etherium was so huge compare to bitcoin technology and bitcoin has only limited supply which have more capable to huge Its value. So I think etherium can't even reach the half price of bitcoin.

it may be me but from my observation it would be very difficult to shift the bitcoin from its peak this is the most expensive cryptocurrency of all crypto so it would be very difficult to ethereum shift the bitcoin. why people use ethereum because its general value is not too expensive compared to bitcoin
