Although the market is recovering, i dont think that it can reach that target soon. it needs a boom good news to pump and I dont see any chance for that.

I dont believe it will go that high...Truth is nobody cant predict anything right now - I have read analyses that 1 BTC will be worth $50k till end of this year and also analyses that it will go down to $1k....Personally I do believe it can go back to $20k at least.

really unsure about 100k. it doesn't make sense if you know the bitcoin. Moreover, I think that all the persons who start investing in like November are more afraid of buying bitcoin, so I don't know if demand will be so huge to hit 100k$

Well, Bitcoin is a very volatile currency. I think 100k is too high, It will not get that high. At present, it is fluctuating around 7k to 8k, it would be around 30k to 40k at the end of this year.

bitcoin to $ 100k this year I think it will not happen. it is too heavy and I think the bitcoin movement will slowly. and if yesterday bitcoin crashes up to $ 6K, too far if this year will reach $ 100k ... but if to go to $ 30k it is very possible and the odds rise will be stable...the main cause of bitcoin increase and depletion is due to news. and those who have substantial capital are very influential in influencing bitcoin prices with their issues which they spread... |

I don't think it will reach $100k in 2018 but I wouldn't bet against it.
If you told me BTC would hit $10k or $20k in 2017, I would call you crazy.
So with all this crazy adoption who knows what will happen.
BTC hitting $100k is very possible. Widespread adoption and more fresh entrants into the cryptocurrency market will drive the price up. This is exactly what happened last year. The adoption and awareness increased exponentially, implying fresh cash injection into the industry. Overall, $100k is very feasible! |

not sure we will hit 100k but we are more likely heading toward 50k from here. Reversal is going to be in soon. You're absolutely right! Massive blockchain adoption in different industries will be the driving force behind BTC. Blockchain is key, the technology will back the price increase as have seen in recent times. Again, blockchain is key. |

I think it's possible but for my TA i'm very confident that btc will reach $25-$30k this year but 100k i'm not sure about that but btc is volatile there's so much news coming.

I think we'll hit $68,800 new ATH in 2018 but price will build a strong base at $40k in 2018.

I am one of the fan of bitcoin. but for me? it will not reach $100,000 in this year. maybe a couple of years. it will pump/ big pump that we can have profit. but! i will not reach your want ($100,000). its to difficult to reach. if you check the rate of bitcoin you can predict exact rate will the bitcoin go. and i think this year the rate of bitcoin will come back to the rate of approximately $15000.

I'm not sure that there will be 100k but I think we will reach 70k, if the government does not start to regulate everything rigidly

Everything is possible in bitcoin. As we have seen already previously price of bitcoin was increased with such a quick speed that no one have expected that speed and now fall to such a value that no one can have expected this price. So every thing is possible in bitcoin. As if demand is increased again with high rate then surely price can touch 100,000.

I do not think that after such a correction we will see the price of bitcoin $ 100,000 in 2018. Probably $ 50,000 - $ 75,000. Although the market is crypto-currency unpredictable and very wild so far. Therefore, I do not completely rule out such an opportunity.

I don't think bitcoin will reach 100,000$ in this year. Onrealistic.
However my expectation is the maximum price of Bitcoin 40,000$ (december this year)
We need trust, trust and of course trust in BTC.

not sure we will hit 100k but we are more likely heading toward 50k from here. Reversal is going to be in soon. No one can truly know but one thing for sure is that, anything of sort can happen. We had a huge run last year, what if we ended up having a similar run this year. Although, I expect bitcoin to consolidate for a while which some people believe will take a while before it recovers, but I still have so much belief that recovery may be sooner than we expect and lead to new ATHs, but we still have a lot of time before the year ends, so we can wait. Honestly, speculation does not mean anything in bitcoin. At a particular point in time, the market will end up deciding what it wants. Ours is just to roll with the tides, make decisions based on that and see how far we get to. Speculating is just like over dreaming when the chances are like 50:50 and no one can absolutely predict the future. I still believe with great news though, we can have some pretty good rally but may not be that huge. |

This is the value in which most people that are hodling bitcoin's predicting. Just like last year, they foresaw bitcoin that it might hit 10k usd. But fortunately, it surpassed their prediction, instead of going 10k, it broke many barriers and made it to 20k.
