Trust me we know all this. We're currently setting up for an exposure/adoption push when airtime goes live (block 140k). We have the plan, we have the tools. It just doesn't happen overnight and the execution needs to be perfect.

As for sell pressure, i think you missed the point of the fork. Sell pressure and price manipulation comes from many coins in a few concentrated hands (including aggressive CPU mining botnets) who dump on the market. The new algo ensures the same amount of coins are shared among many more miners and we can already see this. Sure price jumps up and down but that's because the market is illiquid, it doesn't require any volume to push it up or down.

You can sell the coins you spent a long time mining and burning electricity for and maybe buy back 10% lower but no one knows if that will happen. I think it's silly, you spend all this time mining it and can't stomach some downside, while the risk/reward from this entry is very high. We are in the same boat remember. Be patient.

the blockchain files are in %appdata%\bittube. delete p2pstate.bin and the contents in lmdb - data.mdb (the blockchain, 5GB+) and lock.mdb. Then try again.

Mac mining is not supported. On a macbook definitely it is not recommended, you will cook your laptop. Consider it only for desktop. Right now no Mac support support.

This version is working fine for me.
If you had pre 2.0 wallet then you need to restore it from seed.  
Just restore from seed and let it sync in the new latest wallet.

2.0.0.2 now. Evertime I launch bittubed. When synced, time for the GUI and everything works just fine.
