Den Rest der Gruppe stört das nicht. Der frühe Glaube an die digitale Schattenwährung hat einigen zu einem kleinen Vermögen verholfen - und der neu gewonnene Reichtum soll jetzt gefeiert werden. Lange plante die Community eine riesige Party für die Zeit, wenn ein Bitcoin erneut mehr als 1.000 Dollar wert ist.

Der Eintritt: 1 Bitcoin – das wären dann 1.000 Dollar oder rund 730 Euro. Dafür soll dann auch alles aufgefahren werden – vom Catering eines Sternekochs über unbegrenzte Getränke bis zu einem Shuttleservice. Die Party wird für die Anwesenden unterschiedlich teuer. „Wenn ich mich an meinen ersten Bitcoin erinnere, kostet mich die Party 65 Euro", sagt einer der Oganisatoren. Andere sind viel später eingestiegen und zahlen eher den aktuellen Preis von rund 650 Euro für die Party.Das Fest soll auch demonstrieren, was mit Bitcoin in Zukunft noch alles möglich sein wird. Die Ausgabe der Eintrittskarten soll mit Hilfe des Bitcoin-Protokollls organisiert werden – mit einem System namens „Colored Coins". Dabei geht es darum, dass mit einer Bitcoin-Transaktion auch Informationen übermittelt werden können. Dadurch ist es theoretisch möglich, dass alles per Bitcoin den Besitzer wechselt – von einer Aktie bis zu einer Eintrittskarte.

Doch ein Problem kann auch die Bitcoin-Technik nicht lösen: „Wenn die Frauenquote auf der Party so sein wird wie hier im Raum, wird das keine gute Party", sagt ein Teilnehmer.

Doch auch daran haben die Bitcoin-Organisatoren bereits gedacht: „Das Problem gibt es ja auch anderswo – zum Beispiel bei IT-Messen", antwortet einer der Veranstalter. Bei einem Bitcoin Eintritt pro Person sollte auch noch genug Geld für Hostessen vorhanden sein.

well, the more people get their share early the better we can organize. a crowd-funded party needs a crowd that funds. if the crowd waits and sees then there might be the impression party isn´t gaining traction.
