Will Ripple ever reach $5 ?

Oh did the court rule in favor of Ripple's CEO? I missed that actually. I totally lost track of the most recent news in that case. I just remember that the CEO was confronted with a hefty fine he could potentially face should he lose at court. That is why in the meantime XRP out of a sudden rallied?

Yes, but I'm pretty sure that XRP will win and come back to life in the crypto space as it used to be, because XRP was a very good and good coin in the past before they faced such a big problem, so don't worry about XRP's future if you're right -really like it.

It's possible also that they will lose on the lawsuit, but I'm hoping it will not be the end of XRP, instead, they will only be charged with a monetary penalty and the development will still continue.  The reason why the price dump is because we are in the bear market and people are not so confident to invest in XRP.

I think it depends on the market condition. For now I don't believe that ripple will touch 5$ even 4$ on this market condition is very hard to reach. But maybe in the near future ripple when ripple developer make a new development that can make a great impact to crypto cumunity then why not? Ripple is a good and promising altcoin so there is always a possibility that it will touch 5$ price.

I believe it has the potential to reach that level; the sky is the limit with this coin, but you must be cautious since it can fall so quickly. XRP is now used by a huge number of large companies, which is one of the reasons behind the value siphon. You have to wait more time but you are not sure whether you will reach your target. You have invested in a coin that is not currently giving much profit. Ripple market starts dumping since you invested the highest price. But you don't give up you wait patiently if the bitcoin market stays between one hundred thousand dollars and one million dollars very soon then you can recover your investment. But always remember to invest in the best coins when your investment recovers. Bitcoin is the most important among them.

With the price of XRP now, it has to multiply by ten. $0.55 as its price. It's true that anything can happen to crypto and we all know about that. And XRP reached $3 during the 2017 bull run, and it has passed to another one but little movement and then we're approaching the next one, maybe by next year or two. If no motion even reaches $1 then there's already a problem, I think with SEC or none, if it won't move a lot then it won't really move a lot. So, best of luck to those that have been holding it and still waiting for the right time to sell.

don't look at your portfolio again, rather than you cut loss and my advice is that you reopen your portfolio when the bull run comes, then at that time you will smile, because I believe the price of XRP can definitely reach its ATH or even $5 (like the target you want), so you don't have to worry about investing in XRP for the long term.

I think bitcoin should worth something like $50000 to see $5 worth ripple. Practically impossible in midterm and possible in 5 years or something. Bitcoin is going to need building very high trust upcoming years.

Sir, even in the next 5 years I don't think bitcoin will be $50000, so expecting ripple to boom over night maybe be impossible. OP, needs to understand future investment, risk management and capital bearings. Anything can happen in crypto. A coin can pump, dump, or totally collapse but there are exceptions like for example, it's not possible for Bitcoin to dump hard and collapse. It's only possible for BTC to pump hard. As for the altcoins, most of them are prone to dumps and collapses and it's not possible for them to reach a really high level like BTC.

When it comes to XRP I think it's still possible for its value to reach 5 dollars because number one is its ATH is 3 dollars (that's only 2 dollars away from the target of 5 USD.) Number two is XRP is backed by banks and its use case is kind a great. If XRP didn't reached 1 dollar during the bull run or in the future, maybe it needs to solve its issue with the SEC first.

almost reached 5 years ago as the recorded ATH is almost 4 $ in which close to consider but after what the case filed ? I am afraid this can be taken any time soon mate and maybe will take more years as the problem is still on top and the US Security and Exchange are not giving up.

expect this to happen longer and you may purchase in this lowest price and wait if that happens.

but for me? best to divert in other coins for a while for better outcome of your money.

I use to hold Ripple(XRP) in 2019 when the price starts to drop not knowing that it will continue to drop so I sell all my coins and never buy again, instead I bought Dogecoin and Ethereum in which those coins brings me best return in 2021.

Before facing problem with SEC Commission ever Ripple reach almost $5 and I got profit after long term holding above $5,000 before reinvesting and XRP price drop drastically. Not sure with second chance for Ripple coins back to higher price above new all time high record reach, against SEC is not easy although Ripple have won this cases but difficult getting back investor trust.
Close possibility with Ripple reach above $1 and seems not consistency because right now keep stable around $0.5 and need more than 10 time for Ripple reach 5$.

my style mate, I only commonly check the market when there is a bullrunning because I trust my coins i have in my folio , there are a chance when I come in market checking it everyday (those days when I was new here) that i decide to sell out because of panicking.

Now we are in this situation , i come to realize that this is not a daily basis of checking the price , instead this depend on how we trust our coins and how we can risk our investment for long term investing.

That is earlier today but now we are dropping to 93cents as i am typing this post.

Looks like we are falling already now.

That drop was normal, XRP would drop because bitcoin dropped to 56k again as of this typing.

It's a classic trend, when bitcoin is down, altcoins market will follow, and maybe that news is not heavy enough for XRP to make an opposite move.

2 years passed and Ripple remain that low , not even crossing 1 dollar again from that long of waiting , now sitting at 50 cents and seems to be the stable price for this coin.

lucky that I need to drop all of my holdings before it drops below 80 cents and now contented to what coins i choose to invest.

I still have a good chunks of Ripple in my pocket and willing to risk this waiting long , I know that it will be harder for this to climb because of many issues most important one is that about SEC that had been running for years now.
