Continuously buying altcoins because they can give potential huge returns. Holding bitcoin for long term income. Owning altcoins like ripple, monero, neo and litecoin and then holding them for a long time may provide good results. Owning several cryptos is a wise investment strategy.

For now, I see crypto as a long term investment rather than short term (even though trading can be very profitable, it is part of what creates a lot of this volatility in the market). So because I see crytpo as long term, I invest my spread in the top 7-10 cryptos based on actual projects and coinmarkrt cap ranking. The cheaper coins I invest more, and the more expensive coins I invest less. 5-7 years from now, at least 3 of those coins will be doing very well. I can be patient for that.

I'm new to cryptocurrency and altcoins, was introduced by a close friend of mine and it's quite an experience and interesting concept of raising funds. I've been exposed to a few scams and ponzi schemes so my criteria of a good product is that:
1. it must be an existing business for a few years with a good model, and have even bigger feasible plans for the reason of doing an ICO.
2. Team composition and advisors are next that I look at, idea can be great but without a strong team, it wouldn't give me sufficient confidence that their plans can be executed without delays, that is if it's ever executed.
3. Next thing would be how unique their business plans are, I realised many ICOs are basically copying ideas from existing businesses, tweek abit and calling it theirs, hence it comes back to the point of why it must be a running business for at least a couple of years.

The strategy is buy or invest when they have a lot of discount when presale, that is the right time for us to invest in ICO, if you want to trading you can buy when the price is going down or red, you buy, and then when the price higher you sell it.

Current coin prices really look very attractive for investment. Buying coins now we get an advantage after the prices for all coins are raised. It is always more profitable to buy coins at a minimum, and sell at a maximum.

I don't like it. There is absolutely no flexibility and it is working only in an upwards market. I don't believe that this strategy can be profitable unless extremely lucky.

I can only say that the best strategy to invest in crypto is to really research on the project you intend to participate with. Look for all the necessary info like the roadmap, whitepaper and etc.. Also check for the team and read all their info if they are truly has the capacity to make their token development successful and just really invest your extra money.

Personally, I simply invest 40% of my funds in bitcoin, Ethereum, monero and dash. I think that in a couple of years these investments will bring me good profit.

Hi, my strategy is to build a diversified portfolio of coins. Any subsequent investment would be divided equally between the four currencies. I`m not sure which ones will do well, It gives me exposure to a few currencies that have the best chance of succeeding…at a good price.

Sell the half portion at 100%? How long will be the holding of the coins you bought?
