Actually its depend either investing for long term or short term and then gain knowledge about coins and invest those having potential to grow and good market cap,Be careful never invest all in one place. Long term investment with patience give high rate of return as well so invest in right coins and hold with patience and never  panic sell.

Each method may be available to apply in some certain coins. As here, we may also buy the coins in the low price when it red and then sell 50% when the price is higher 40%. Then 50% altcoins are kept for a higher price in the future.

This is the Strategy I was following in crypto. This is the example.

buy coin 300A @1.00 = 300

Sell 150 @2.00 (Now you covered your initial investment(Excluding fee))
Sell 50 @3.00 = 150
Sell 50 @4.00 = 200
Keep remaining 50 for long term( If market is crashing you have to sell this proton immediately).

But this method can't apply if the market crash before it reaching to 2x. I would like to know the approaches/Strategies you are following and drawbacks of this method.

My strategy is simple. I split my money and buy different coins to hold for long term or short term. Then put the profit into the market again.

For me in the world of cryptocurrency, the best strategy is patience. To many ways to get rich in crypto but when you try to ask the successful investor and traders how to become them. They will simply answer you " have patience."

Strategy to invest in crypto is the buy and hold. When market is crash, i will buy potential coins and hold it for long term. You need to have a strong patience in holding and  if youre currently have altcoins, you can trade it to other altcoins then hold.

If the coin i bought has a promising future and have a solid project i usually get my initial investment if the price is already at 4X the price i bought and the rest are for trading if there is  sudden pump i will sell it and accumulate again once the price gets dumps but it depends on the news and updates of the specific coin.

Sounds great strat. But what I'm doing is just chose the sure thing to invest. Make it long term and trust the project to what ever it takes. If it will gain 50% profit in less than a year then that will be great withdraw 50% of the investment and the half will wait for what your target price will be!
