- We're going to imminently release a new wallet build.
- This build will activate voting for a UASF (user-activated soft fork).
- This means that once 80% of blocks mined during the voting period (of a couple of weeks), have been mined by upgraded wallets, new consensus rules will activate.
- Therefore, it's imperative that we encourage all HIVE MINERS -- POOLS -- EXCHANGES to upgrade ASAP.
UASF FEATURES:
- This will tighten the time window for block acceptance ( thanks to @kryptoin ).
- A slower inner-hash for Hive checking (14x slower) will help to level the playing field between small and large Hive miners.

In case you missed the Litecoin Cash development update on Friday 26-3-2021 here is a brief recap:
- We're going to imminently release a new wallet build.

- We already planned a small UASF as you know - We expected to fix Minotaur after that, then add it as an additional PoW dimension to LCC to cure stalls once and for all - We have unexpectedly fixed Minotaur early; it is CPU bound again! - New version is called MinotaurX - Therefore we're rolling everything into one big UASF: - Fixing "Future Time window" issue - Bring LCC Hive into line with Ring's Hive protocol - Adding MinotaurX for cpu-mineable pow on LCC- We expect you to be able to try MinotaurX on testnet within the next couple of weeks- We'll likely drop a whitepaper about MinotaurX before then - Thanks to Neoncoin team for their valued assistance with MinotaurX- For the technical folks, the new algorithm can already be seen in our cpuminer fork - The coin transformation will bring in new user base with the CPU mining, as it will be possible to (1) start with any computer (2) mine a few coins and then (3) transition to spending mined coins on Hive mining |
