and I think this is why gambling still exists for a long time and will still among the people. I think without any warning from other people, people still playing gambling and like you said, every day newcomers will come to the gambling section and they will try to play in many games. December to January was depressing. Though I am not that of an addict in gambling, I definitely felt a great loss upon the great fall. And by now, I am still waiting for a comeback on about 10-12k USD. It is quite boring these past few months because of the low prices. I haven't touched my bitcoins since the fall happened.
Well, I am still working on some Sig Camp and I think I won't gamble much again. I am planning to invest my btc on a business. As soon as it goes back up I will definitely stop gambling and focus on the reality of career improvement.

As a poker player I have noticed that it is much easier for me, psychologically, to enter a tournament with a fixed USD entree fee when the price of Bitcoin is high. Yes, you pay the same price as before in USD, but the price in BTC is lower which means you can enter more tournaments with the same BTC balance. Also it's good to see that the $10 you won some time ago have turned into $15.

But the price crashing has its perks too. For example you can enter a free tournament and win $2.5 which looks insignificant in the time of winning, but it may turn $10 one day.

Price changes sometimes affect me when I want to gamble and affect the pattern in bets or at the time when betting on the game. As a former gambler , i despise my older self , that greedy mindset that always tried to catch smoke with bare hands , since that's what is gambling ! Earning your money the hard way will even give it another taste and you'll think twice before making any childish or irresponsible purchase of anything because hard earned money has an additional value when compared to what we earned by luck .
What comes around goes around and the money that came easily will be lost sooner or later easier than it was earned .

Well you may take me out of context as my gambling experiences revolved around the lessons that I learned from the past but I do agree that the price increase of bitcoin has affected a lot of gamblers recently. Though it may be a double-edged sword, gambling cannot be profitable for individuals who hope that they can regain or pay their financial liabilities through gambling.
