How has past few months affected your gambling?

As owner of a gambling guide - Bitcoin Gambling 101, I am curious as to how the crazy December and then January price changes affected your gambling wins/ losses?

What I liked about the December-January jump in BTC prices is that if you had $20 on your balance in November it became $60. I took part in poker tournaments with $3 entree fee, which I never did before because I can afford to pay $1 max for an entree, but since it was the same amount of BTC I decided I can afford it. What I didn't like is that if I won $15 in those days it became $5 later.

That is how crypto coins are. Volatile. Bitcoin is the most fluctuating coin and if you are expecting it to just surge up, it is not very fair. Volatility means changing positively and negatively, gaining value while at the same time there is equal chance of losing value. That is the sole reason why people were able to become millionaire with the help of this BTC. Using it in gambling means losing the chance of earning huge profits.

I have no idea why the price of bitcoin will affect the gambling issues of everyone,since we bet here in form of cryptocurrency not i fiats,so whatever the value is doesnt effect any of us..

Unless the players is from outside whos capital using fiat and buying coins from within...if thats the situation well wish them luck because of loweet pricing

This is because most of the people are gambling more money making so the increase or decrease in the price of crypto currency will also change the activities of the gamblers.But for the normal gamblers the price movement may not affect.

But it also the good time to invest if you are a gambler because you can have more bits or bitcoins when we convert the fiat into crypto at the times of red days.

Well I am proud and very of myself that I stayed away from gambling and focused in crypto. I am not gaining profit and my loss from gambling is slowing coming back to me from my investment and my job. It was hard stopping myself from playing dice game but I know that doing so is going to have a good impact in my life so I have to resist no matter how hard it is.

congratulations to you as you can stay away from gambling, it must be difficult for you for the first time, right? but now, I glad that you can recover your money and I hope that you can fully recover the money and you can get much profit. yes, I know that it's hard to stop yourself from playing the games because once we played then we can attract to play more and more. and I hope that you can stay away from gambling forever and don't think to come back to play the games again.

Gambling is a bad thing and deserves to be abandoned. You will get a bad day when you try to play gambling. There are many other ways that can be done. Although as an entertainment then gambling is still a bad thing. Avoid gambling games and it will save our lives. The future that we will achieve will be better if we are not in touch with the gambling game. Someone who has a future then must choose their own way. Believe that it will make us better and much more meaningful.

I intensely played gambling about 2 years ago, and you know that bitcoin price 2 years ago is not as big now. while currently I focus more on trading bitcoin, rather than gamble.

unfortunately I have not played gambling for a long time not because I do not want to but because I do not have time to play gambling at the moment but I still hear some of the latest news in gambling that uses crypto for betting tools and that's good enough because the profit is not just when gambling but when the outcome of gambling we invest long-term.

Your money, health, reputation and relations are safe so far and if you want thing to remain this way for whole life, don’t even think about playing this ridiculous game. If we are given this life then I believe it should be utilized in the best way possible, not wasted away in the worst way.

I gamble with Bitcoin only at the moment, and a very small amount of ETH which one of my sites accepts. I have to say since all the limits there did not change, I did not change my habits. Always played in BTC values, and yes at the back of my mind I am thinking of dollars but at the end of the day this just means in the peak I was gambling two or three times more in dollars than I am now.

Small effect on thinking, but no effect at all I would say on gambling.

I won't risk my money in gambling and would rather wait for a profit even if it takes a long time.

It really is the best way to stay out of gambling. Having something you could be very busy and focused with will divert you into doing gambling. People gamble so they can relax and get away from a stressful work but sometimes it doesn't help and will just make everything worse.

I am also a student and my gambling habit is only for fun. I play poker with my friends but we only bet low amounts. I also gamble online but that was before btc suffered a huge dump. I am being thrifty with my btc because I want to gain big profit if ever it pump again.

Wow you're in good timing of selling at $20,000. Sadly I wasn't able to sell during that time.
And until now I can't gamble with the current price but I have some few alts that I can gamble with if I want too. But I still don't have the appetite of doing so.

I know that people come for gambling because they think that by doing this they will become relaxed and stress less but when they are done with that, they become more tensed as they have lost some handsome amount in gambling and instead of becoming relaxed, they get more worried about their loss in gambling so it’s better for everyone to find something else to become relaxed rather than gambling.
