Ok, I think my SD card is messed up now.
I reloaded the image and booted Pi up, a bunch of errors etc.

Now it's asking me for root password for maintenance

Did you try the password ... root ?

I am selling in stock OneStringMiner boards, based on the Bitfury chips. Have a look here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=495536.0

Will try that if it comes back bad again.

Thank you guys!!!
Reformated the card and I am back mining already.

The new image actually lets you put the full IP address you're using unlike the original that was letting me enter only the last part.
The only thing I had to do is edit interfaces to change Subnet and Gateway.

Boom!

Freaked me out. lol

Get an HDMI to DVI connector/adapter and you can use nearly any modern monitor.  Get a additional DVI to VGA connector and you can use any monitor - they usually bundle this last one with graphics cards....

Quit giving me ideas, lol.
But yeah, good point. I do have a Digital KVM here that I could use..
hmm, ohh, just found a powered hdmi to vga converter Smiley Yay!

Be careful here. DVI supports both digital and analog(vga).  if you just buy the cheap connector adapters, although they plug in, they won't convert the digital signals to analog. At least that is what the tech guys at MicroCenter convinced me was true. Spend the $40 - $50 fo a proper HDMI to VGA converter.

Unless Redacted has actually had this work, in which case the people at MicroCenter were full of stoko.

No, I did mine in two parts.  First part, a HDMI to DVI connector cable - HDMI and DVI are both digital - no conversion.  Second part, bunches of free DVI to VGA adapters that I got with all my graphics cards.   But all my monitors do at least DVI, so I don't need them.   Don't recall the HDMI to DVI connector cable being very expensive - here's what I got.

No, actually now that I look at the RPi I remember that I didn't end up buying the cable, just the adapter...

This is what I used as well, had some lying around as I'm a gpu miner.  HDMI->adapter->monitor's DVI input   Works a treat.

I am mining at slush pool:  stratum.bitcoin.cz
1x M board v 2.2
5 x H Boards

Slots:  A-1, A-2,
B-1,
C-1,
D-1,

Nonce Rate for the 5 cards is 128.777GH/s to 132 GH/s
3 workers are setup at slush pool with difficulty 16 each.  They are setup on the bitfury miner as well.

The problem:  It has taken 5-7 hours to build its hashrate on the pool up.   My Avalon at 111GH/s usually takes 10-15 min to stabilize its pool hashrate.
Also while Noncerate shows: 130.08GH/s now, I am still getting   ~123,987 MH/s to ~124GH/s on the pool.

So...what do I need to do to rectify this?   Should I just mine at btcguild pool?  My experience tells me its something with how this thing mines.   Should I re-order how my cards slot?   Or Should I just use two miners kits?

Why haven't you overclocked yet? lol

I mined my 2 BTCs in Slushe's.., then it started flipping out on me by dropping hashrate all the time.., so I went to BitMinter.., a lot less issues now.

I got my bitfury's yesterday.   I still need to buy a Digital multimeter and then I will do the pencil trick at lunch.

I also want to update....Mining on BTCGuild instead of Slush seems much more stable and accurate.  I get 130 Nonces/second...BTCGUILD shows 132 Gh/s

Did Bitminter do any updates for BitFury users? Giga had to change some stratum issues to reduce the reject rate (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=206181.msg3168937#msg3168937). On giga's pool my reject rate went from 2.5% down to 0.04% after this change. The hash rate also went from showing 20ish to 26gh/s after the change.

Same for me. I have almost no rejects at all and hashrate is perfect since his changes.

If anyone here has 400GH or greater hashrate and would like an account at Giga's private pool message me.

Not sure, but in the last 7hrs+ my rejection is like 0.04%
It doesn't go up either.
From my observation all the errors come as the new round starts.
I am at 220k blocks with 96 rejections.

BF: at 46, Bitminter: 54Gh/s right now... ?? dunno,. lol

Since you were messing with it as an external device to modify the networking, I am wondering if that caused the problem? Since you have a keyboard/monitor now maybe try to re-burn the image fresh to the sd card and see if it works that way? Then you can change the networking again. I am not too familiar with linux so I am not sure. I am downloading the v2 and going to throw it on a spare RPi I have to see if it happens to me too. It will be about 30 minutes or so though because my game of League of Legends is now starting Tongue

well i finally got a liveusb ubuntu going, sudo edited the ip fields (confirmed with explorer) and no luck. wiped the card and reinstalled the image with the bad ip - still no luck.

i am re-downloading the image as a final resort, but this is really starting to bug me... Sad

edit: looks like i cant get a stable download. my first image file was only 1.6GB (expanded to about 3.69GB on the SD) and my re-download 'completed' at only 548mb. whats up with that? can someone post a different link maybe?

For some reason after I downloaded it, I had to right click on the file and go to properties. It said this file came from another computer and is blocked and I had to hit unblock (in windows 7). Before I did that win32 disk imager just kept freezing while trying to write. It's writing now, but at a very slow pace. Weird, my minepeon images only took a few minutes to write to my SD card. I am uploading it to mega.co.nz, but my upload speed is shit and says it will take another 3 hours before it is done uploading.
