My opinion for the fall of bitcoin is that the reason for its fall is its nature of volatility, however it decreases continuously because of people panic selling, and thinking that it is the end of the cryptocurrency. Government, companies, and other media personalities doesn't even help it and even announces that it is the end of blockchain technology. What we have to do is to support the foundation of crypto industry, do not easily fall into the trap of capitalists.

A fall below $ 7,950 on the bitfinex will make it clear that the markup is not valid, because wave 2 can not fall below wave 1. This will be very bad.
This happenings to bitcoin now did not surprised to me, if you are in old in bitcoin holder you know that every January to February the bitcoin price as going down, and it is bouncing back about 4-5 months after. This tradition of bitcoin price was repeatedly every year, so much better to us now have a patience and hold bitcoins a couple of a month then you will see the profit.

We all know that bitcoin is too mobile in its price and high volatility is inherent in it by its nature. Therefore, there is nothing to be surprised at such a deep fall in price. I'm more concerned with the fact that for too long in bitcoin, its shortcomings are not eliminated - slowness and suspending transactions and high commission fees. I think that this is what influences most of all the drop in the popularity of bitcoin and a drop in demand for it.
Let's hope that its shortcomings in the near future will be eliminated by a network of lightning or a more perfect phantom network and bitcoin will recover again.

I think I have witnessed the bad side of bitcoin. However, that does not mean bitcoin can not bounce back from all the crises it faces, I am not worried, because it has become a tradition of btc prices down in January. Look at the data from the last few years, then you will see that prices are always down in January, By the end of February or early March the prices have gone up again.

Countries are either starting to ban or regulate bitcoin. If it's banned, people can't use it. If governments start regulating bitcoins, that means tracking people's accounts; who's buying & selling for tax purposes. People maybe selling to avoid the regulations they know are coming. The big players know this too and are probably cashing out so that helps bitcoin go lower. If they made 10M in bitcoins, they can probably get away with not paying taxes as governments can't track it now. Once regulations get in place & governments can track it, they'll have to pay almost 1/2 that profit in taxes. Also, the futures exchanges starting trading bitcoin futures recently so that allows them to short bitcoin. So this is another contributing factor to bitcoins decline.

Bitcoin will never fall literally like the value of mickey mouse money. If there is always downfall this month, this will grow uo again fo the following months or years. Bitcoin will never really fall until its investors lose their trust on this kind of crypto. But if we really want to maintain or make it better that image of bitcoin, let us help together to break the false information that blocks investors.

I'm not worried, as it has become a tradition that btc price falls in january. Look at the data from the last few years, then you will notice that the price always fell in January.
By the end of February or the beginning of March the price has risen again. I think this year will be similar and prices rise again no later than at the end of March. I hope so anyway.  Cheesy
Yes bitcoin is unpredictable. It always surpasses our expectation about it but trust in the bitcoin. Its price will rise up again and it will be a great come back for the bitcoin. The bitcoin statistic in the past years shows that the bitcoin's price goes down during the first month of the year, actually between January to February but do not be worry, the bitcoin's price rise again when it hits march. The graph shows that this is a normal event so do not let yourself be shaken.

People talk of bitcoin's history(down in January, then up after that) as if that's going to predict where it's headed. Roflmao 🤣 Just because it may have done that in previous years, doesn't mean it's going to do that this year! If this was assured 100%, then these people who say this should be putting all their money on the line. But they are not doing this are they?

Well in my opinion concerning bitcoin fall at this year is due to korea and china bitcoin banned, and some other countries regulations for bitcoin. It really has a big effect for a bitcoin price to get lower. It's just a normal, and an basic economic, supply and demand. Basically, bitcoin population is being affected by this two countries bitcoin banned policy. So the demand of bitcoin got decreased because the supply of it is increasing.

I think the fall of the bitcoin is due to the panic selling and stooping the investing in the bitcoin. If we stop investment ion the bitcoin and use bitcoin panicly due to the little fall in the value, it create a high fall in the bitcoin value. When we investing at a high rate in the bitcoin then the value of the bitcoin go high and high. I think we should keep investing in the bitcoin so that the value of the bitcoin will rise and many people from the world will change their life due to our investment. So for the sake of the humanity we should invest in the bitcoin.

I've met these days a friend we didn't talk for some time. I asked him about the fall of Bitcoin prices. He asked how much Bitcoin is now. I told him 8k-ish.
His answer was eye opening for me: "Last time I've checked it was 2k. The price is just fine."
And he's right. The "fall of Bitcoin" is just a correction. A big one, but there's plenty of room for it. People cash out their profits of 2017.

Sometimes Bitcoin cannot be explained using technical analysis. IMO, there are too many fuds recently. Another reason is due to the Chinese New Year in mid Feb, I guess many Chinese will cash out during this period.

But I am confident that Bitcoin will recover later on.
Yes, the Spring Festival is a big festival in China where prices have gone up. They need to buy new goods, new clothes, visits to relatives, etc. Therefore, they need more cash, the drop in Bitcoin prices is most likely due to China's Spring Festival Cashing .
