Well we all know the potential BTC has and will not be surprised when it hits 50k someday, 2018 has however been a very hostile year for all cryptos. and i don't think if BTC will reach those heights

It is too early to say whether 2018 is a hostile year for crypto or not. Only three months have been completed, as of now. Even in 2017, the exchange rates were mostly flat for the first three months of the year. The spike occurred during the second half, which took the prices from $2,000 per coin to $20,000 per coin.

It is said that nobody knows what the future holds. But with the recent trend of the market and the pace at which the bitcoin value is moving, it can be said that the value may not reach $50,000 by the end of 2018. But hay!, you can never tell, cos anything could happen.

It is clearly going in another direction right now, but I think it is short term trend. Lightning Network can make Bitcoin much more usable and scalable, and that brings the potential of a lot merchants adopting Bitcoin as a transactional currency.
We have plenty of reasons to be bullish Bitcoin in the long term.

It is not impossible to happen. According to the groups where I in, they said that there's some prediction that bitcoin will hit to 2.5million pesos.
Meaning, if you convert it into dollars, $50,000 is the result. But don't be comfortable to that prediction. It may be true or not.

Bitcoin price is a roller coaster the start of the year 2018. It goes up at first and stays then go down and stay and go up a bit then drop more so low and rapidly. Will it go up again in a loop then down and up again? We really don’t know what will happen like we really don’t know what the reason of the huge drop is. Is it the news? The bad news that affect the mind of investors or is it really manipulated? But why other altcoins price also dropped? We really don’t know right? We just depending on big investors decisions. Their decisions will affect the bitcoin price also. But what do you think can affect those peoples mind in invested and selling their bitcoin? For sure the bad news and the good news they heard. The tweets of some influential people also affect them. That’s only my opinion.

And in addition to that other (28) twenty eight most influential blockchain insider according to Richtopia, Tweeted that Bitcoin price will be $50,000 in 2018. I don’t know if it will affect the price of Bitcoin or other crypto currency because as I check the CMC / Coinmarketcap.com list still on red percentage. I will just wait for next week update. Maybe this news will affect it soon.

I strongly agree that bitcoin will pump, but i don't believe bitcoin will pump and reach $50,000 because it is so impossible now because bitcoin price now is so unpredictable getting a dip getting pump, and now stable into $8,000. But hope to pump bitcoin to $20,000-$30,000.
