I'm pretty happy with my recent purchases. Got in Verge, Quantstamp & ETC pretty cheap in my opinion. Ofcourse you can wait and try to catch the bottom, but I'm satisfied with the prices i've paid for them. One of these days they'll skyrocket back up and I would hate to have missed out on that just to buy it a couple % lower.

Low prices is good reason for purchasing cryptocoins. That’s great opportunity I agree. But if you have not free money then it is hard to decide what cryptocurrency should you sell for buying some others coins.

50/50. Half excited, half not. Lower price means more investors and probably scammers (looking to the negative side of it). And bigger companies can buy the actual crypto so that I guess is scary. But lower price means affordable for us to buy. So yea, a 50/50.
